There's just no way the player of the season is going to play on Thursday nights.

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Well you did win your game, it wouldn't have mattered by how many goals unless we drew/lost.
I know just knew it wouldn't be our day.

Lovely to see Everton finishing the season above Liverpool, hell of an achievement all things considered. Shame they couldn't finish the season with a win.

Rafa has come out of all this looking very good too, I can only hope chelsea get Mourinho and he has a terrible time of it but I can't quite see that happening. Still, it'd be ace.

You are a factory of sadness.

    Well done Wenger.
Plus motherfucking 1. One place lower though. That's competition I guess (same as Spurs' total being good enough previously)

Oh and it's hilarious to see QPR right at the bottom of the table. Must be so hard for the fans though. Shame to see neilqpr leaving this thread.

You are a factory of sadness.

I love the press - "Utd should buy Bale." Just like that. Just buy him. Make the call, get him in - done.

Not as much drama as last year, but still an amazing end to the season. So many stories coming to an end and so many new chapters about to begin, argh, ROLL ON NEXT SEASON ALREADY!

Impressive to see Savage stepping back from his Villa baiting to say well done. I didn't think he had it in him. Still not right that some Villa fans had a go at his deceased dad. He comes out looking a bit better in my eyes.

You are a factory of sadness.

BBC Sport's Owen Phillips at Stamford Bridge: "No Rafa on the pitch for the lap of honour. Looked hard to see him but no signs of the interim one as Chelsea fans call for Benitez, instead they sing appreciation for the Special One

Trophy cabinet might be longing for a new addition, but all things considered, Wenger is a magician.

    A 1200 accumulator.

    GONE.

Because the two Manchester Squads couldn't finish the job.

Quite impressed I called everything else though.

What you need is a website for that, say... www.footballitk.com?

Nonsense. Arsene prints this out every year and gets it laminated.

He puts it next to the pictures of the open topped bus parade you got for drawing with drawing with Bayern.

Really? Wenger has called 4th place as good as a trophy. Plus the obvious dig at lack of actual trophies

Oh okay, well without knowing that Wenger quote it wouldn't make sense, but thanks for clearing it up.

Kodaline on the end of season montage there on sky sports. I should be happy some local swords lads making it big but they're a bunch of tossers and I really hope their success is short lived.

All of us near the top did. Says something about the state of football at the bottom.

Happpy season. Poor finishing and thus too many draws hampered us. I think I saw two or three matches where we deserved nothing. We just weren't clinical enough in the rest. Unlucky today. Didn't deserve to lose, but c'est la vie.

Not looking forward to next season, but can't be helped.

Fitting that on the last day of the season, our centre half scores a goal out of nowhere, and spurs one man team scores their winner as usual, and it amounts to nothing.

Thats that then. A player has never been sold out from under a manager before.

Why do you think I was implying it meant something?
