    Bye bye Wigan.
Tuesday will be rather like kicking a small puppy.

But we better just kick it.

At least we know now that we need to win to relegate them and make Newcastle safe.
We are safe as Wigan and Villa play each other. We've got nothing to play for now, you'll destroy us.

Fair play to Spurs, no bottling this time. Regardless of Newcastle being safe, I can't see us winning both. Gah!

How on Earth is Sturridge a c*nt for being a good player?

Newcastle will be a doddle. It's all on Wigan. I support Spurs, and I'll be listening in on that game (hoping to jinx Arsenal).

Newcastle will be like a knife through butter so yeah. 3 points on Tuesday and it's on the bag.

That Fulham game really smarts now.

Buys a decent central defender hopefully.

Edit: I'm also quite worried about losing Shaw, he is probably our best player at the moment.

    Its that celebration he hates

Oh, and it would be just like Spurs to get no more than a point from Sunderland, at home. :/

@Dougs I'm as optimistic as ever but at the same time I'm fearing the worst. There's usually a twist and I fear it'll come on Tuesday. All the ingredients are there, Dean in charge, Wigan on the back of their shock cup win. Also feels like it's meant to be for the spuds this year, what with Bale's form, all their late important goals etc.

When we reached the CL in 2009-10 BAE scored in our first home game that season. He scored in our first home game this season v WBA. #omen

Both Wigan games for me. A team that cannot beat Wigan, well, should they be in the CL?

@Bremenacht Spurs have a good record on the last day of the season but its still a very slim chance of Arsenal dropping points.

    Good goal by Swansea

Hopefully we get another cultured latin team. Allardyce percentage football is a cancerous philosophy imo.

He seems pretty clever with his organisation.

I dunno, don't think either will be that easy. We should beat Wigan and if we don't, we don't deserve anything. I just think there's another chance to shoot ourselves in the foot again.

I honestly don't see what the big issue is with Bale's celebration.

My nerves can't handle watching that bunch of useless cunts much longer; if Wigan stay up, then it will be either the Mackem's, Southampton or Villa who go down.

No regrets about the Fulham game. Absolutely the right decision to go for it in Milan. And Wigan have as much right to beat us as anyone. The second game was a good one. The first yes, we fucked up, but still, we're likely to end with over 70 points. That's a bloody good season whichever way you look at it.

It is what it is. If we're the 5th best team in the country then so be it. We have it better than 99% of the other 5000 registered clubs or whatever is it, and these days are a world apart from the dark days of ten years ago. At least we actually challenge Arsenal these days.

I enjoy being a fan, especially at the exciting end of the table. I do wonder about some others though.
