Wait for it, apparently Alan Curbishley is installed at 14/1 - who likes them odds? :)

Staying on as director so new manager must be someone he trusts

@TheSaint Say what you see, and all that.

It's basically got to be between Moyes and Mourinho, realistically. Perhaps someone like Laudrup as an outlier, but I couldn't really see anyone else.

Well I've been to most of his home games in charge, and some fucking amazing away days, topped by 26th May 1999 of course. Not a bad run really, once he got going. Better than Sexton and Fat At anyway :)

Redknapp 50/1 and Allardyce at 80/1 on Skybet.

I hope these have a replacement lined up or this could get very boring.

SO. How long before the new manager crumbles under the pressure and the fans demand a Giggs/Scholes management team?

Former Wigan manager Paul Jewell paid tribute to Ferguson's ability to deal with the pressures that come with managing United.

When will they announce new manager? If it IS Mourinho than 606 will be fucking hilarious.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Oh man this is strange. I can't really take it in right now.

    How about Meulensteen?

    Please not Mourinho...

Yeah this. Pretty much my whole experience of football has always had him around as Manchester United. Be very strange to see someone in charge at Old Trafford. Would love it if it was Mourinho though, would be hilarious.

It is sad, he's been a massive figure in football my entire life. I hope he doesn't drop dead as soon as the season ends.

Mourinho far too expensive for United imo, unless they have a drastic change of spending policy. His wages alone are nearly double Fergie's (12.3m a year) not to mention he generally likes to spend around 100m right off the bat when he comes in.

Moyes would definitely be my bet.

    Martinez to Everton

I'll take it happily. It would truly make me glol to see Chelsea miss out on him and him go to United. Not to mention than having to see whichever Man U fan it was on here reneg on their position of no longer supporting United.

Hmm depend i guess. Will be Moyes or Jose though.

Moyes is a risk though. More than Jose which says something

I agree, but do you think the potential of having a box office manager could offset the extra cost of his wages? Probably not, just a thought. I wonder what the Utd marketing team would make of that.

I'd like to see the Man Utd management throw a huge curveball and hire someone like Jurgen Klopp as a replacement.
