I'm sure QPR fans were happy to hear Harry say QPR might never get to the PL again.

I watched some A-League highlights the other day and was surprised to find the standard was far better than I expected. Also the atmosphere in some games is fantastic - they've bought right into the European model of sustained chanting and massive flags.

    QPR announce Arry is staying.

What was the point of all that today then?

I did the BBC predictor thingy today and had Villa safe by 3 points with Wigan going down.

    Not that that means shit.

I'd rather both stayed up, but I can't see Sunderland or Newcastle being sucked down into the reckoning tbh so it's either/or for me.

I guess if Villa do go down at least they would be firm favourites to bounce straight back up.

Good to see Agbonlahor back as he seems to have made a difference in the last few games before his injury. Big match this /jiggleypuff

You are a factory of sadness.

Brilliant from Lowton, best thing about Villa's season.

Excellent goal from Vlaar and a tremendous pass by Lowton, great touch from Weimann and a cool finish. He's blazed a few of those recently but that was very assured.

Tough to know where this one is going. We've been good at the back but one lapse and Rose got in for a good finish. Sessegnon has been quiet and marshalled pretty well. I'm slightly concerned by how much freedom Johnson is getting on the right but he has been pretty ineffective so far.

We so badly need an early goal in the second half to give a bit of breathing room but so far we have controlled most of the play and looked the most likely to score. We just need to concentrate in defence a little.

Credit to Lambert too, playing Sylla looks like a good choice as he has been very good down the right and I think his efforts have helped curb the wing play of Larson.

You are a factory of sadness.

As well as Benteke. Lowton is destined to be a RM and then play off the striker.

I'd have said a draw at half time would have been fair. 3 cracking goals. Nice to see Gardner can also play keeper. Big half.

Lots of football to be played but Wigan fielding a weakened 11 in the FA Cup final is a big possibility isn't it?

God that would be depressing. I don't think they will though, even if they play us on the Tuesday.
