Problem is, with RVP we could be about the break some league winning records.

That's if the players could be arsed anymore, which they appear not to be.

He didn't score for like 14 games, during which time they won most games. He's clearly been integral to their success, but he's not the sole reason, particularly in the last 3 months or so. Others must have been doing something right.

So now you're saying that the Manchester United team WITH RVP is worse than the one last season without him.

    You're a bit weird.
I give up. I'm weird. etc. Fine by me.

I think RVP should win it because his goals have been instrumental for a relatively (look it up) shit Utd side winning the league. I don't care if anyone disagrees and I'm not willing to debate the point further.

    There.

    Danny Pure Toilet™ Welbeck?!

The media clearly know something us football fans don't.

RVP single-handedly won you the title. Game over.
Yet he scored more goals for Arsenal last season and they DIDN'T win the title.

It's almost as if...surely not...he hasn't single handedly done anything!
He's won more points for his team than any other player in the league. 22 points or something, second was Bale on 15. This was from a few weeks back though. He scored important goals away to Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs. In the big home games he's scored against Arsenal and Liverpool. These are the biggest games of the season for Utd.

TBF, the short-list comes from votes from the players. Who, being footballers, are a bit thick

Isn't this the award that Giggs won one year when he played about 10 games? Why are we dignifying it with our attention?

Anyway, individual awards in a team game are nonsense.

Bit surprised Rafael isn't in the Young Player of the Year list. Had his best season yet at United and is considered one of the best RB's in the league.
RB is not a sexy position.

I can't believe Welbeck (and Wilshere really, he's missed a chunk of the season) has been nominated for the young player of the year award.

Clear case of 'top 4' bias.

The footballer formerly known as Welbeck has actually been performing very well in the games he plays.

There is the slight problem that he doesn't score goals.

Does Milner still qualify for the young player award? Really impressed me how consistent he is. He's fought his way in to the best eleven at Citeh.
