Sounds about right except I think I'd play Carroll in the mid instead of Holty and Sigs in the mid as well, with Ade in the point of a Christmas tree.

Feel like dog shit today but still struggling down to the lane, so hoping to be rewarded for my effort.
I can go with that compromise, although doubt he'd start Carroll. We need pace and our backs are the only ones with it.

Hope you feel better - coys.

That's the thing, I think we just have to accept that without Balennon, the pace won't be there, so I'd rather have Carroll who gets time on the ball and can pick a pass to make up for it. I actually think Carroll is our real Modric replacement but AVB doesn't seem to have noticed yet.

But yes, agree your formation is more likely.

NO Lennon, No Bale, No Defoe. I'd go five at the back with Naughton and Walker as wing-backs. Dawson, SuperJan, and Caulker in the middle. Parker Dembele Holbty in mid - Sigurdsson, Adebayor up front.

    Make it so.
There's a good chance that'll be our formation too. Should make for a decent end-to-end game.

At the spurs game now. Dad ordered the tickets and made the classic error of realising our seats are the last row of the upper tier. The pure joy at the look on his face when he realised how many steps he had to climb

Think he will write to Levy asking for stair lifts for the new stadium

    @Syrette

According to that article he has served two lengthy bans for 'horror' tackles. Wonder if we are looking at buying him to sort Callum McManaman out? (as long as Wigan and the Toon are in the same league next season...)

This will be another Wigan. I wasn't expecting anything from this game anyway.

I just BLOOMING know Liverpool will lose by one measly goal despite dominating for the entirety of the first half ...

... it is 'the Liverpool way' unfortunately.

I'd love to see Sunderland win away (against Chelsea) today too.

Strangely flat game. It's a cliché, but it's as though Spurs scored too soon. Osman has let us down on two or three occasions where a better ball would really have opened things up.

If Suarez hadn't stamped all over him he would have laid down his presence a while ago.

Yeah, you couldn't make it up. Every game now we lose someone.

Like attack v defence here. Spurs pretty clueless today though.

Matthew Nieuwenhuys: "And to think, it was only a few weeks ago when David Moyes' job was under pressure."
    It was?
