    : )

    ... now I remember!

Just what were they trying to do?
They discovered a flaw in the penalty rules which states that the ball has to travel forwards...but not that somebody else can't touch it into the goal. So they were trying a fancy pass so that they could see where the keeper had dived and put the ball away.

Essentially it was a 'we're so fucking good we'll invent new ways of beating you because the old simple ways have become boring' until he overhit the pass and fucked it all up.
I'm pretty sure Ajax pulled it off properly in the '70s or something.

Have we done the fallout from Barton getting mouthy on twitter? Apparently, anti-hate groups are seriously pissed off that he called Thiago Silva an 'overweight ladyboy'. The highlight of the story for me though is that he's apparently baffled at the response since such insults are 'two a penny in Britain'. Its like the whole Suarez saga passed him by completely. I look forward to his teammates wearing commemorative t-shirts in his honour.

Wasn't it just 2 weeks ago that AVB was making bold claims about not having to rotate his squad for the Europa and League?

Plan seems to be working well... for us, hopefully.

He wasn't saying he didn't have to. Just that we need to get used to playing European games.

I'm glad we're taking Europa seriously. Injuries are unfortunate but can happen any time.

    Sick of the inquests personally.

You Goons will be having your own inquests soon enough. Enjoy ours while they last ;)

As for Joey Barton, he is a tool. And an attention seeking one at that. I love the fact he tried to re-invent himself a while back and even managed to fool the Guardian into buying into it.... shortly before imploding in a fit of thuggery which saw him go into his current exile.

All that said, I thought that tweet was mildly amusing to be honest. People need to stop getting so offended by everything.

True. Someone just needs to explain to them that you don't feed the trolls...

Funny thing about the Joey Barton tweet, Sky Sports News were running a story about Gay footballers, and Barton was quoted as saying something needs to be done and their poor treatment is unacceptable.

So for like 5 hours I'm thinking; good for you, misjudged and decent.

Then he calls someone a fucking post op lady boy.

The guy could fuck anything up. :D

    We already had our inquests!

Results are in : Arsenal are shit.

TBH even if you end up throwing 5 of your last games, we don't have the balls to win enough games to get ahead.

It's just funny watching moriss get twitchy :-)

Yeah, that was from a couple of years back, when everyone thought he had matured.

To be honest, I think he just revels in playing the villain nowadays. The comments about Thiago Silva were clearly meant to be a silly wind-up, he didn't expect to blow up into such a shitstorm - hence the subsequent apology from both the club and himself.

    Against Arsenal? what?

Awesome goal, the angle from behind you can see the ball sized space he was aiming...didn't need power, just knew if he put it there it's in.

So good, it was shocking how a player as good as him could fall off the map. no-one gave Ronald a chance and time like they're doing with Torres.
