I hate when he makes that heart symbol with his hands when he scores.. Irrational hatred ftw!

It is annoying, as is his monkey face, but then opposition celebrations are always irritating, aren't they? Tim Cahill's punching corner flags probably made other fans want to deck him.

Daft sacking. Glad I've already backed them to go down.

Thank Christ for that. No longer will I have to watch his dour piss-poor explanations of why he's not as shite as everyone knows he is.

So the board was expecting a result against the top team in the league? Or they knew they'd lose and didn't want to inflict the game on a new manager?

Silly at this stage but I think he has lost his impact and his tactics have little effect now. Give him lots of money and he gets somewhere but just like anyone else. He isn't worth it now and hasn't adapted.

The first would make no sense at all, the second might actually shed some light on the timing.

Haha, brilliant. I can't stand O'Neill, fuck knows how he gets so much love in the media. Because he gives good interviews or press conferences I guess.

Sunderland were so poor though, and they have been for a while. Losing to United is one thing but it's the manner in which they lost that causes concern for them. They're just woeful.

He's one of the biggest managerial myths around. Totally unjustified hype. Sunderland haven't been any better to watch than Stoke under him. Now for the jumped up shit at Stoke to go too.

I'd happily keep Wigan and get rid of Sunderland

No hope for Reading. They're making Gervinho look alright.

Do hope Reading go down. Another one owned by the Russian mafia.

Swansea's stats in the Spurs game were very good. Seemed to dominate.

And the third goal was lame too. Second very nice though.

Benitez won't get sacked if they lose on Monday. Who can they get that will turn them around in 8 games? Especially as they'd only be getting another interim manager because they won't get Mourinho until the summer. Nobody good enough to secure a top four finish for them would take a job for just two months. They'll probably just about have enough to make top four with Rafa anyway, but they're going to have to beat Spurs on the 14th. Arsenal's run-in is easy and they're in decent form at the moment.

Great three points, still a bit too close to that third from bottom spot for my liking.

It was a strange game yesterday, Benitez picked a team made up of second team players but it was the lack of desire, fight and energy that cost us 3 points. There was no real cohesion and I'm not sure what has happened to Ivanovic over the last couple of months, he has been very poor.
The thing that annoyed me most though was 2-1 down, with 10 mins to go, Ba on the bench and Torres playing poor, who does Benitez turn to? Yossi fucking Benayoun!

He still thinks he's the Liverpool manager.
