I can think of 170,000 reasons per week why we might be happy with his choice. And of course his agent can think of 6 million reasons.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

    Obviously.

Given Mikel did the same thing, I can't help but think Hazard'll be the same resounding success that Mikel has been.

    Brap, brap, old chap.

He does look quality though to be fair. The goal in the FA Cup last week vs. united was great.

I can't agree with that Hazard is obviously a talent in a very different way than Mikel.

Mikel was about potential (which never really worked out).

Yep, I think my hope that he'll turn out crap is wishful thinking rather than being based in any actual reality.

It's been one season. This could all prove very premature when Mourinho wins the quadruple with Chelsea next season.

He would of course then apologise to S'ralex.

Hazard stats are very good for a 22 year old in his first season. He did well at first but the whole team became inconsistent and then when Rafa came in his tactics at first didn't really suit him. Now he has more freedom and Chelsea are benefitting from it, the rest he got after kicking that ball boy did him some good and he is now looking better every game.

I can see why there was so much hype over Hazard, he oozes quality. Certainly has the potential to be one of the PL's best midfielders for many years.

Surprised people think he's been underwhelming, more a case of him being overshadowed by Mata.

This might well solve fixture congestion issues for all teams. Maybe Fergie should get Van Persie to give it a go.

You are a factory of sadness.

Rio's pulled out of the England squad for the upcoming games due to scheduled fitness programme activities, wants to be selected in future though. Pity Rio didn't just tell them to fuck off in general.

Amazing how petty and pathetic football can be. All of this could have been avoided with a few short phone calls.

They really should have just said 'thigh strain' rather than all this 'hes a delicate flower and no one trains him like us' guff.

We done Piers Morgan on Twitter complaining about the subs Arsene bought on against Swansea:

Thing with Rio is so called excuses are true. Same with Vidic. Fault is with FA for not thinking why he has suddenly played so much.

He should of told them to bugger off anyway in all honesty

I know its not a natural thing for Man U fans to consider the national side, but some people actually care about England.

Picking Rio is a brilliant idea though, he's really one for the future. Let him bed in for a year or so, get some experience and build up a rapport with his partner in central defence, and then you'll really see him blossom - he could be at the heart of England's defence for the next ten years jesus christ he is five hundred years old Roy get someone younger in

I am fairly convinced Roy said he was going to do that very thing. Bring in the youth, bed them in and build for the future. It seems to me that he has done anything but that for the most part.

You are a factory of sadness.

The England team has become a massive clique and nobody seems to have the balls to break it up.

As easy as it is to be glib about something like that, the fact is that we need to beat montenegro otherwise we are going to end up in the playoffs.

Roy wanted his best players, Rio is, on form, one of the best defenders in England.

One for the future and all that shit doesnt matter. We need to win this game.

True, but at the same time you need to get some new players in otherwise in 2014 it will be the same, increasingly creaky, injury prone defenders who weren't quite good enough last time and it'll be "it's the World Cup, we can't bed in new players now, we need our best players".
