    Interesting, as GT1 and 2 were on PS1, and GT3 and GT4 were on PS2. So we could expect GT6 to arrive on PS3. We're only 3 years into what Sony say is going to be a 7-10 year life cycle. I can certainly imagine another GT on PS3, with a tweaked engine and more features.

    But with the ability to patch and add DLC, who needs another disc-release?

    My guess is we will be waiting 2-3 years for GT6 if GT2 and GT4 are anything to go by.

    Their bank balances will need another disk release!
    They can charge for DLC but patches are free. Best pretend it isn't broke (which I don't think it is tbh) and charge for a new version.

    They are probably aiming for year 2 of the PS4, get it out there instead of waiting years etc.

    Nah Year 2 of the PS4 will be in 2015 so if they started dev in 2010 then that gives them 5 years. I think they will make it for the PS3 but release it for the PS4 if that makes sense.

    Cars I would like to see in the game include:

    Toyota MR2 MKII
    Ferrari Testarossa
    Ferrari F50


    /maybe a Toyota MR2 MKII appears during GT5. If it does, I havn't seen it yet.

    You apparently can't talk about GT without some people flaming against it all the way. Still the best racing game I know.

    The complexity of the system and the desire of developpers to get the most outta 1080p and 3D output is just ridiculous, to the point where this horribly impacts perfomances (something you would not like to happen in Multiplayer) before GT 5 came out, i bet there was no less than 3 months of tweaks and optimisations just to ensure that it runs at constant 60FPS (at least in 720p, it never locked it in 1080p ou 3D mode)
    While Forza is only happy with 720p, and absolutely locks it during gameplay, looking far more cleaner and much more beautiful than GT5.
    There's nothing avaible to get outta the PS3 and honestly it will not be surprising to only see it on PS4.
    Forza 5 on PC and XBOX 3 FTW! :D

    I saw that earlier too. My guessing is it's either a cross-generation title or began in development for the PS3 but they'll switch it to the PS4 when they realise that in 2014 hardly anyone's still buying 'last gen' games (except Wii U owners, fnar fnar).

    Putting it on the PS3 would be a massive waste. I really hope they don't.

    Sure, they could do cross generation but it'll hurt their focus and I'd love to see them go all out.

    Can a mod merge the new Gran Turismo 6 thread(http://www.eurogamer.net/forum/thread/251625)into this one please.


    So, just five hours until GT6 for PS3 is announced, hope it has some kind of Vita link up like remote B-spec etc or even a Full Vita version.

    I want a Move based mini game where an Audi cunt drives right up your arse and you have to force them off the road and then attack them with a baseball bat that you keep in the boot.

    I think it could be quite therapeutic.
