    Schafer's new game: http://xboxlive.ign.com/articles/113/1136328p1.html

Enter Charlie Blackmore, the world's smallest Russian stacking doll and the star of Tim Schafer's latest endeavor, Stacking. A third-person adventure puzzle game, Stacking's diorama open-world environment is set against a 1930's era backdrop.

The fun of matryoshkas is, of course, stacking them, so the game utilizes their nesting functionality in an interesting way. The various dolls that populate the community have unique abilities and since Charlie is the littlest of them all, jumping inside another character (as creepy as that may sound) is an easy way to acquire new skill sets. Though you can pile on the dolls, only the outside one's power will be accessible, so you may find yourself stacking and unstacking to successfully complete a challenge.

"Costume Quest was their first foray into the downloadable games market ".

    Deathspank anyone?

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Deathspank wasn't a Double Fine game.

    This space left intentionally blank.

Edit 2: Also wrong about Deathspank and Double Fine

It looks excellent, some of the Grim Fandango style is shining through again. They were definitely right to go down the shorter game route when they've got so many great ideas to explore.

    BAAANG!!!!! EXPLOTION!!!!!

Loving the new downloadable games initiative from DF. Costume Quest was fantastic and this looks even better.

I must admit, nothing about Costume Quest has intrigued me to buy it, but this looks really promising.

It seems as valid a post as yours, being mod doesn't make him a role model. If he'd banned you though, then you might have a point :)
