Never did get to play that one. A lot of people speak fondly of it - might have to track it down.

Playing it was just a joyous innocent experience, like the gaming equivalent of a Pixar movie. You'd have to be a cynical old bastard not to enjoy it.

Doshin the Giant and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg were similar brilliantly joyous games.

I traded my Gamecube (and REmake, practically the only reason I bought one) for a used copy of Tiger Woods 08 on PS3. In retrospect, it was a poor choice :(

The mere comparison to a Pixar movie is enough for me. SOLD!

It was actually quite similar to Toy Story now I think about it. I want to get a GC and play it again now!

    Hahaha.

I wouldn't even trade my GC for a PS3 console.

Oh… you are a sickening individual in your ignorance. Not beyond saving though. I prescribe a course of the Primes mixed with a dose of F-Zero GX, topped with a run of the Wind Waker and Resident Evil 4 (the way god intended it to be played) - if my solution is successfully followed that should carry you back from the brink of the abyss.

    Not even a new copy...wow that's depressing!
But you sound like the kinda guy I wanna trade with...:p

You laughing at me or with me...!? DECIDE!!! :D

Well I've just finished polling up to this point (well waiting for Kami to name his top 3) and so far there isn't much to say except...

There is only 3 games with a single point, all of them Mario games.
There is a nice War going off between Resident evil 1 & 4. Currently they are sitting in 2nd and 3rd position overall, with only a point between them. Resi 4 the one on top.
And Wind Waker is 3 points clear of anyone!

Wind Waker and Metroid Prime in close succession was a wonderful, unproductive time. When I think back to the GC, there were actually very few games that I bothered to finish other than those two. Viewtiful Joe was great, and PN:03 was kind of awesome but mainly because of a badass main character (who would be great in MvC3). Mario Sunshine was underrated, especially the brilliant hardcore special stages.

I think people are forgetting this is a vote TOP 3 GAMES PLEASE PEOPLE

@GrandpaUlrira - could you please name your top 3 GC games, thanks!

No, I wasn’t laughing at you mate. I genuinely felt it was a slick/funny way of pushing the agenda of your thread. :)

...and we are back on track, thanks Bremenacht!

@trip919 - sometimes people forget and need a 'gentle' nudge...or capital letters and bold font, just to get things moving back in the right direction. :D

It's that or sending them abusive PM's...and no one wants that ;)

    Final Fantasy CC
    Res Evil 4
    Wind Waker

Most loved is stretching it, even with rose-tinted-nostalgia-goggles the Gamecube was disappointment and had only a handful of games worth playing, much like every Nintendo console since the Snes.

    Phantasy Star Online Ep 1 & 2
Resident Evil 4 (or a second copy of PSO 1&II)
Metroid Prime (or a third copy of PSO 1&II)

I've also noticed a few spelling errors in other votes. For example Eternal Darkness should be spelt "Phantasy Star Online Ep 1 & 2".

PSO is the best game ever created, bar none. If it doesn't win, I'm going to kill everyone. By kill I mean be disappointed by. And by everyone I mean myself.
