    Sorry if this has been said, but
    I would imagine it would be very different to what Princess Diana wore because fashion changes so much. I think that what the bride will wear will be the big question that everyone will be asking. She has a great sense of style. A royal wedding is always fabulous. It's brilliant, isn't it? It's absolutely wonderful.

    Showbiz magazine Heat tells BBC Radio 5 live they're not that bothered about the engagement because they believe young people these days are more interested in Katie Waissel from the X Factor than Kate Middleton.

    I love that I just clicked on the last page of this thread out of vague intrest (i give not one hoot about any of this) and the opening post is discussing what roboqueen's duties would be.

    Yup, it'll conveniently be scheduled around the Bank Holiday so we don't get any day off. Let the peasants work that day instead so that extra taxes can be generate to pay for the whole thing.

    She's actually kind of hot, especially so relative to the rest of the royal family. I'd definitely commit some kind of treason on her.

    I've had to turn the television off. These conveniently ready special (needs) programmes designed to cover this monumental borefest are making me want to smash in the heads of all the cling-ons associated with our preposterously archaic monarchic class.

    If William and Kate had announced they were pissing off to get married in Las Vegas, hanging up the boots of their Royal Duties and going to live off their own wits, it might have been interesting, but this cynical recycling of the Diana- and Fergie- weddings, neither of which worked out particularly well, is guff of the highest order.

    I know there is an argument that says the monarchy is good for tourism, and therefore the economy, but surely people would come from far and wide to witness the Stone Tablet on which the whole sorry lot of bastards were gradually bled to death in the middle of Hyde Park, or whichever Park everyone goes dogging in?
