    We have our first match.

    WWE Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs Wade Barrett with Special Guest Referee John Cena
    - If Barrett wins the championship, Cena will be allowed to leave the Nexus.
    - If Orton retains, Cena will be fired.

    Damn, them's good stips.

inb4 Barrett wins but doesn't win the title thus invoking neither forfeit.

Even if they are completely illogical given Barrett made them.

I can understand Barrett saying 'I win the title or you're fired' but not the inexplicable decision to let Cena go if he does.

While he might want to screw with Cena by making him cost Orton the title, what happens the next night on Raw ? Cena's done with Nexus so what's to stop Cena beating the living crap out of him ?

On top of that, he'd have a seriously pissed off Randy Orton to deal with and no Cena to back him up.

Don't think that will work this time NY, the way they've worded seems to mean that if Orton walks out with the belt Cena will be fired. Am I the only one hoping for a swearve in that match tho?

Yeah, you're right, it seems airtight.

I don't want to see either outcome, really. Barrett's too early for the title. Cena doesn't need "fired".

So a swerve would be good, if intelligent.

It seems to be worded specifically so that if Wade Barrett does not win the title, not just the match, Cena is fired. Barrett's not stupid enough to fall for the same trick twice.

I'm having a weird premonition where Cena hands Barrett the title, beats him senseless, gets a bunch of his face buddies to take out the rest of Nexus and then gets on the microphone and tells The Miz he's got the opportunity of a lifetime - while still wearing his referee's shirt.

I'd personally like to see him nail Orton with a steel chair, throw one of his silly Cenation armbands on the floor, then order Barrett to give him the title as he "wouldn't of won it without his help", and then threaten to urinate on the entire front row - Brian Pillman style!! That would be EPIC

*sigh* It's just not the same anymore is it??

Pointless filler match with no feud behind it.

Give 'em a chance, it was just announced! Frankly "I'm the new man on SD and I want your belt" works for me, anyway.

Good to see Edge in 1-on-1 action again.

Love the design on the official site

Some great effects, and the images of Nexus members and their quotes are really cool.

Reminds me of old fighting games where each fighter has a quote associated with them.

This Pay per View might as well be called anything really as they're not sure there will actually be a Survivor Series match

There will be at least one, apparently. They had a minor setback as I believe CM Punk was setting up a team when he came out to watch Daniel Bryan.

I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with Team Miz vs Team Big Show.

The heavy Nexus branding on the SS website makes me think there will be a Nexus vs. WWE elimination match, even though we've already seen that at Summerslam.

But yeah, Team Miz vs. Team Show also seems likely. Here we see the silliness of having 2 PPVs involving elimination tag matches right next to each other.

I remember back when the brand split actually meant something, I'd always root for a Smackdown guy to with the Royal Rumble (and they did, like, 3 years in a row).

    Ah, memories.

yeah Team Miz vs Team Show makes a LOT of sense actually. They should have a Wildcard Survivor Series match like in.... was it 96??? That was my favourite!!

The promotion of this so far almost seems like TNA's 10/10/10 business.

Boosting Nexus back up to seven members (well, eight if you count Skip Sheffield) suggests that we might get a 6-on-6 match or something.

Minor change here, LayCool vs Natalya is now a handicap match.

    So predictions anyone?

    My prediction for the main:

Cena screws Orton out of the title making Barrett the new champ, then as promised Cena beats the hell out of Barrett and Nexus leaving Barrett in a heap in the ring then wanders off.

    Then....

    I CAME TO PLAY!!!!!

It's a bit Russo-ish having the title change hands again straight after Barrett wins it but it's Miz's turn now for sure!

I've got exactly the same prediction as both of you. Failing that, I expect Barrett to win, John Cena will be released, & the true leader of Nexus will be revealed, Triple H, who will beat up Cena leading to a Road to Wrestlemania conflict between the two.
