The personal details of thousands of Sky broadband customers have been leaked on to the internet, alongside a list of pornographic movies they are alleged to have shared online.

    The list, seen by BBC News, details the full names and addresses of over 5,300 people thought by law firm ACS:Law to be illegally sharing adult films.

A BBC investigation in August found a number of people saying they were wrongly accused by ACS:Law of illegal file-sharing. UK consumer group Which? says it has also received a number of complaints. Many contest that IP addresses can be spoofed.

    The leak contains around 1,000 confidential e-mails, along with the list, which was an attachment on one of the messages.

    The collection was then uploaded to file sharing website, The Pirate Bay where it is being shared by hundreds of users.
Yeah, was reading an article about them (I think...) and apparantly the only ISPs they're not targeting is TalkTalk and Virgin.

    I'm worth Virgin so good stuff!

    Everyone knows Jack Thompson - but how did he become the game-blaming activist he is today? Read Part One of my new mini-series!

    If you happen to get a letter from ACS:Law, either ignore it or reply telling them to 'go fuck themselves'.

    Only pauper muppets use Torrents these days, and frankly deserve everything they get.

    And that is in no way a disproportionate response to this story.

    So... there's a better way to get free porn than torrents? What is it? I ask only so I can avoid it in the future.

    Good old 4chan, there's always a couple of geniuses in amongst the swearing, sexist, racist perverts. Might as well download the list to see if there's anyone I know on it.

    @Deckard1
    I point you towards mcmonkeyplc's comment. Downloading porn indeed, pft.

    It won't be a list of names, just IP addresses I think.

    I also would like to know this way so that I can tell my freinds not to do it. Streaming sites for porn are the rage I hear, but what about socially acceptable stuff?
