    Hi guys,

For a while now we've been working on a new Livetext system for when we're covering events like E3 keynotes, and it's nearly ready.

Before we put it live though, we want to do a little stress test. That's where you come in!

Today at 3pm I'll post a link to this thread which will take you to a test Livetext page where we'll be conducting a Q&A session with Tom Bramwell, our beloved editor, so we can put the thing through it's paces.

We'd be forever in your debt if you could spare 30 minutes to help give the system a whirl.

    So...who's in?

    -----

    We're now live!

    Go here:
    http://beta-www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-09-28-livetext-beta-test-article

    You'll need the following details:
    Username: mafia2
    Password: p0sitive (that's a zero)

Any feedback or bugs, post em here or in the livetext!

    A date with Tom?

I used to be a gamer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Craigy you need to answer this question. It's imperitive there be swearing so we can test out the swear filter.

There is a swear filter right?

    :)

    Come and get it cumslingers!

The Eurogamer prize is a lie :(

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

    You have the wording correct.

It can display your name, but, like the rest of us, it gets fed up of typing it after the first half dozen characters ;-)

I don't ever log out of the site now as I can't be arsed to type it in myself.

Last time I "gave the system a whirl" (the karma beta) it wasn't too well received.
