I know. I bet there's plenty of Kardashians and Kendra, though!

The Halloween special was a bit disappointing, really. I did laugh a number of times but it just seemed to start and then was done. A few nice movie references though.

Agreed. Good, but not as great as I'd hoped.

I thought the Zombie outbreak was going to be more ironic than literal.

We picked-up Season 1 on DVD and watched the first 7 episodes back-to-back last night. I have to say Community is probably THE funniest US comedy I've ever seen. I can't believe I didn't get into it earlier and that - it seems - nobody is watching it, because it's a million-times better than anything the US has produced in a long time.

I know that sounds like hyperbole, but the wife and I were in tears at some of the scenes (especially the Spanish 101 presentation.) Class throw-away lines, too, like ''go back to hosting American Idol'' and ''can we do this in a room with less balls?'' had me in kinks.

If you're not watching it, watch it. NOW.

    Community is indeed awesome.

For those who have yet to see it and are wondering why we keep goin on about it, the first 10 or so episodes are on VIVA (fuck knows what channel number that is!) on Sunday from 4.

Set your sky+ box now, you won't regret it!

EDIT - found the channel numbers that you need. Sky 258, Freeview 21 and Virgin 313.

    Enjoy!

Get them watched or PVRed or whatever. It's one of the funniest things I've seen in ages and it deserves more support.

I agree. Having been a bit slow to get going it is now my favourite shows.

I could watch the Batham bit between Troy and Abed in the Halloween episode gets me everytime:

“Candy corn looks like tiny traffic cones.”

    “It sure does.”

“I’d like a candy traffic school. Like, little Gingerbread Man at the wheel. And he’s drunk.”

    “Look out.”

“You’re driving, but you keep wanna eat yourself.”

    “All day.”

“That’s one of my biggest fears.”

    “What is?”

“If I ever, like, woke up as a donut -“

    ”- you would eat yourself.”

    “I wouldn’t even question it.”

    “Hm. That’d be tasty.”

“It’s cool to know other people think about this stuff too.”

    “Yeah. Yeeeeah.”

Just got into this as well. Very good.

If you like this then you will probably get on with Modern Family if you haven't seen it..

thought this week's was hilarious. maybe my favourite of the series so far. show is pretty unfuckwithable at the moment. not quite as good as the first season but it peaked late too, so.

I wish we could see them taking some classes this season, with the exception of epiosde 1 all their shenanigans seem to have taken place outside of class.

We just watched the paintball episode last night. Absolute genius. Sad thing is, we've only 2 episodes left of Season 1 now... :(

I've been watching it - we actually started watching Season 2 first... It just sucks only having one episode a week to watch now.

Saw this yesterday on Viva - caught the pilot at 5 and watched them all through until 10pm! I was going to say that it was a waste of a Sunday afternoon/evening, but it so wasn't - one of the funniest series I've seen for a very long time! So time well spent, can't remember when I last laughed so much.

Was that the entire first series they showed back to back or is there still more to come?

there are 24 episodes in series one so some quick math and I'd say no.

    Just under half way there.

    Edit (You lucky bastard!)

Awesome! And I've just found out there's a second series, so I've still got another 38 episodes of Community goodness awaiting me... hurrah!

I caught "Introduction to Statistics" (Halloween episode) during yesterdays VIVA Community marathon. However I feel a little sorry for anyone who might have been watching them for the first time. Since they started at 5pm they seemed to be cutting some jokes, for example they cut the sound when Chang refers to Mexican Halloween as a sexual position and most dissapointingly when Jeff tries Changs "move" to win over Prof. Slater, he just sat down, said nothing and then they got up and left together... it couldn't have made much sense to a first time viewer.

Here's how Senor Changs "Secret Move" should have looked

There's 25 Episode in season 1, yesterday they showed the first 10.

Wow, something changes at about episode 15 or so and this show turns into something really really special.

One of the best things on TV.

Last night's episode was excellent. As you'd expect.

I just don't get why the ratings aren't so great. Well, I do, because it's not getting any kind of push from the network. Last night there was a big thing about how The Office was on, followed by Outsourced. No mention of Community (or 30 Rock, which I dabble in.)

It was cool to see the return of Annie's Boobs this week

    ;P

Big Bang Theory moving to the same time slot as Community this season won't have helped, even though Community is a million times better.

Don't get it. What's that trying to show?

edit: scratch that, i saw it. Clever.

This year is like last year. Taking a while to get it's footing but brilliant when it hits it.
