Game Center is an app offering similar basic functionality to XBL/PSN allowing you to add friends and compare achievements etc.
I can't seem to log into my tag anymore without it wanting to create a new account so was wondering if someone in the know could confirm whether you log in with your Apple ID (i.e. e-mail add) or your Game Center username (i.e. gamer tag). -
Er, and play-online with full voice chat, etc.

Registered 8 years agoJust downloaded the new Angry Birds update and my Gamecenter asked me to log in. I did so as normal and it made me create a new account; I've lost all data: friends, achievements, scores, the lot. Not too happy about that.
Edit: can anyone with me (Merlinho) on their friends list do me a favour and go and see if I still exist, and what games I have? NB Any more than Angry Birds? -

Those wishing to remain anonymous, tap your email address on the main screen - View Account - scroll down and tap on your email address under Edit Account Info. Change your real name here then tap Done - Done.
