That looks pretty good. It doesn't completely work, some of the filters are a bit broken, but it's a lot better than most freebie photo manipulation apps like Paint.net, which I've never been fan of.

Something of a meta suggestion, but alternativeto.net is a useful site to check out if you're looking for software options.

I almost lost my dissertation by not backing it up for 2 days (and making a huge amount of progress) when Windows completely died. Had to linux my way in but it was a horrible moment.

So now i'm paranoid. USB, SkyDrive, Google Docs, now this :p

Just raised a pretty fundamental flaw with the wunderlist developers and apparently I'm the only person out of 35,000 downloads who has found it!

    Go me!

    Which was?

Ed: Oh I see it. Yeah, I noticed that, but figured it goes down when you delete it rather than just crossing it off, but it's a proper bug.

It's a cracking little app so more than happy to work around the foibles whilst it's in beta. Devs seem keen to resolve issues as well.

And Apptrap is good for making sure you don't leave a mess behind from any installs on the mac.

Sadly, you do have to sign up for it to count. Not that sadly though as it's ace.

Aw. It must have decided to stop letting me have extra space then. Maybe 3.5gb is the largest you can have for a free account.

that means I just wasted 20 secs of my life.

You owe me DB... you owe me.

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

An obvious one but virtual dvd/cd drives Daemon Tools Lite.

And for virtual machines I'd recommend VMware Player.
