Love the book, almost at the end now.
Kinda pissed that I somehow missed there was an audio book version:( That must be grand.

Lots of Partridge about at the moment, but this made me chuckle.
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2011/oct/17/alan-partridge-i-partridge-book

I broadcast a four-hour radio show, five days a week. The suggestion that that is somehow a step down from presenting a half-hour TV talk show once a week (20 hours of weekly output, versus 0.5 hours) is a genuine side-splitter. I'm statistically 40 times the broadcaster I was then. That's just maths.

Finished the audiobook yesterday - it's bloody fantastic from start to end. It helps if you've seen all the series and MMM as he offers his own takes on some famous scenes :)

Where's the best place to pick the audiobook up online? The itunes link doesn't seem to work and the reviews aren't liking the quality.

    His Twitter cracks me up:

The autobook of my audiobiography is at NUMBER 1 in the iTunes chart. http://bit.ly/rrUL84 In second place? Mr Steve Jobs.
When I found out I’d beaten the world's greatest living dead man to the number one spot, I punched the air. But in a VERY respectful way.
Incidentally, as an nod of respect, I suggested changing the I of the title to an i so it'd be iPartridge. But it's a legal hornet's nest.

I went for the cd version in the end and I'm ruddy glad I did...it is class.

Now if they could just release the Fosters shows on a dvd.

Needless to say I had the last laugh.

I read the book on holiday. Pretty good - some genuinely funny lines ('comedy cash-in books' can be so hit and miss).

I kind of ran out of steam with the Mid Morning Matters clips... I'm just not a 'watch tv on the computer' type of person.

Anyone know if they're ever going to stick them on a DVD? Or even give a DVD away with a pack of Fosters? I'd even drink the Fosters!!!

I get the feeling there’s another proper Partridge series coming at some point. Coogan isn’t letting the character die, and if anything he’s found new life recently.

I know there’s talk of a movie as well, but I reckon they’ll announce a new series next year.

@DUFFMAN5 - excellent! I watched the first 4 a few times. I thought they were great! Up there with the best of them. I must have watched both series of 'I'm Alan Partridge' a thousand times. (and I don't think series 2 is any worse than series 1 unlike all the reviews at the time.) Seriously, Partridge is the best antidote to my ironing sessions. A DVD of Mid Morning Matters is a necessity!

On the final chapter of the audiobook now, loving it. Can't get enough Cook Pass Babtridge.

After season two of I'm Alan Partridge I thought that was it. Mid morning matters and I Partridge were great surprises and he has kept the quality high.

The Comedy Channel picked up Mid Morning Matters to show early next year.

There's supposedly a second series in the pipeline too.

And did we have Alan reading from his autobiography at Waterstones?

I'd like to see Tommy Saxondale make a return. probably Coogans best character ever....but not many people down south would 'get' the classic midlands sterotype

Just got around to watching Alan's 'Places of My Life' show. Probably one of the funniest things that I've seen all year.

Does anyone know if this will be on the (equally brilliant) 'Mid-Morning Matters' DVD?
