    Eat your heart out Stallone!

    Trailer.

Bizarrely Dredd is played by the 2000ad artist Gregg Staples.

Dredd takes The Long Walk? (Again.)

Looks better than that Stallone assfest.

The slightly baggy leather outfits did make me chuckle :)

    Er no.

Looking very nice, I could tell whether Minty was wearing tight boots or not but I'm sure it'll get mentioned in the dialogue at some point.

Edit: or was that Morphy with the boots, it was a long time ago...

    /take stookie

That's what it looked like to me... Why else show the ''No Law 2000 Miles'' sign?

But given I stopped reading 2000 AD when it turned into METAL RULEZ!!!!!! Weekly, I could well be missing something.

I love how far fan films have come. Some of that stuff would have been absolutely mind blowing in Hollywood productions not long ago.

I was genuinely expecting him to be Minty from Eastenders under the helmet.

Same. Bit disappointed, to be honest.

The title of the film for a start!

In the strip Minty was getting too soft and realised he wasn't cut out for MC1 any more and decided to take the Long Walk, the film uses that as its premise.

It's amazing how production values on the low end of film making have jumped up beyond the professional standards of relatively recent TV output such as 90's Sci-Fi or the recent Doctor Who.

If there's one thing I found more annoying than anything from the Stallone movie it was that shite catchphrase, Dredd has never used it and considering his psionic rating he never would!

Though I wonder why anybody would opt for the Cursed Earth if they're getting soft, Judge life expectancy would be considerably lower than in Mega City. The Psycho Cubes are where Minty should really be headed.

That sounds familiar now you mention it...

Just watched it, ad it is indeed fucking stunning. It's astonishing that a fan can create a film far closer to the source material than two studio pictures.
