A new partnership was announced today at Gamescom between Hungarian developer Digital Reality and Japanese dev Grasshopper Manufacture. Announced along with this parternship is the first game that they are co-developing Sine Mora.

Sine Mora is a new take on the old side-scrolling shooter genre. The mix-up this time has something to do with time manipulation. Suda 51, famed head of Grasshopper Manufacture, is excited about working together with Digital Reality stating, “We think we can strongly benefit from having an ally such as Digital Reality in the digital publishing realm, who can provide long term online publishing services to its partners, and to gamers.”

Sine Mora will also have stereoscopic 3D support, which I can’t take advantage of . No more details are out at this time, but we will keep you posted.

    It's PSN/XBLA. [Source]

Cross-buy in place? Loved this on 360 so will probably pick it up on Vita (or wait for it to turn up on Plus)

@Ignatius_Cheese Sadly confirmed as a no. Apparently there are a lot of differences between the 2 versions.

Sine Mora is my game of the year so far on the XBox. If the Vita version is half as good it will be superb.

Just be wary of getting frightened looks on the train when you leap out of your seat, punch the air, and shout "Get in there!!" as you complete a mother of a level at 7:34 am on a dark and rainy Tuesday morning.

I do hope nobody on my psn frend list cares about scores too much, it brings out the overly competitive side of me and I'll lose days trying to eek out a few more points.

Looking forward to this though, I love shumups and this one looks a bit special.

    Psn - Emperorzaphod
    Steam - Emperorzaphod
    Wii U - sirzapalot

Totally bought it, last night. Considering a TV/PC build to go with the Big Picture steam update now.

Ed: and a bigger TV, natch.

Give yourself £5 or ½ gig, you're worth it.
