    Very bad !
As in : very slow to ship, very slow to reach you (wherever you might be), and liable to fuck up the simplest thing.
Indeed they're liable to fuck up so badly that it can end up working in your favour. For instance, I was sent Deus Ex HR, Skyrim and the Star Wars blu-eay for free because one of the discount codes they'd sent me to apologize for one of their fuck-ups had bugged out and fucked up itself !

I've just discovered games for windows live today after buying resi 5 for 2 quid on pc (I'm relatively new to pc gaming) and really liked the fact I earned achievements across on Xbox.
I actually contemplated getting bioshock on pc for the graphical advantages, games look so much better, but won't be if achievements don't go over. I saw that the old bioshock games had it though don't think this will and from the general consensus most people are really glad about that.
DOes anyone know if it will support it and why it's seen as an awful service?

That vid is great, shows how good and varied the combat is, and has raised my anticipation and excitement levels. :-D

I haven't looked at anything you've posted. :p Will come back to some of it after I've finished the game though.

Hah, me too. I've avoided nearly everything apart the initial 10 main preview and some combat bid a month or 2 back. I want to discover it all when I play it

I haven't seen most of the things I posted either ;) Except for the combat commentary, was genuinely curious about that.

The thing is : when Games for Windows Live fuck ups, it's spectacularly obtuse and tiresome. And since it has a fair number of bugs, it's infuriated quite a lot of people.
Also, Bioshock 2 offers achievements, but Bioshock 1 does not.
Finally, Bioshock Infinite is likely to feature Steam achievements, if you're up for that.

Games for windows live is fine so long as nothing goes wrong, when it does dear god are you in for a world of pain. Don't really need to repeat the pain there's plenty of info on that already on the web but to start off with game saves and patching are so incredibly flawed in it you wonder how anyone let it out into the wild.

Just ordered from 2 game. Expect it by Tuesday at the latest on previous history. I've broken my not over 30 for a game but I plan to trade it as soon as finished so only cost me a tenner.

I just couldn't handle waiting around for price drop in a few weeks with everyone posting great things on eg.

I don't like the re design of the woman. The old trailers she looked much better. The new hair style is terrible.

    REEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTT IIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Seriously, you can get free trials on Lovefilm that'd easily last long enough for you get this game and complete it without paying a penny. I can't see the point in not doing this - why buy a game knowing you're going to trade it in as soon as possible (and all the hassle and lost that incurs)?

    /broken record

I'm so desperate to avoid media for this title that I'm annoyed I've caught a glimpse of the HUD on this page...

  • Deleted user 16 March 2013 10:02:38
Because if the game is 10/10 I can keep it. Also buying it gets the developer a sale and generally it costs about a fiver. Tomb raider cost me two quid and I had it for eight days.
  • Deleted user 16 March 2013 10:05:56
Also when I was with love film they were average at getting me what I wanted and quickly. Bioshock I will have on Tuesday where renting wouldn't get until Saturday. Bioshock I assume will be around 15 hours so I will be able to trade with in two weeks and get about 27 trade in cash. Cost 34.99.

But you have to go into town to trade it. Pubs/devs get plenty of money off rental licenses, don't you worry about them.
