Hey, sorry for me making a few topics lately, but I was wondering how accurate the avaliable here list is on the CEX website? Because there is a game that is out of stock but is avaliable in my local CEX, so I was wondering how often the update it? Thanks

Another question regarding CEX. DO they buy games, without the instruction manual?

They seem to employ homeless tramps (judging by the smell) so how accurate do you think tramps are with keeping stock control?

    PSN ID: Djini

Haha, the store does smell a bit.

I haven't asked them because my store isn't that close, so it could be a wasted journey.

They don't take phones that are missing flaps. So going by the logic they don't accept incomplete products I say no.

I think they may accept them without manuals because I got a DS game without it's manual.

The manual was there, you just didn't see it

    Haha, you could be right.

    Just kidding.

Just checked their online help. It looks like they do buy games without instruction manuals, as long as its not PC games that need a CD key

Do you buy items that are missing their instructions?
Yes, we do. However, please note that PC CD-ROM games which require a CD key must contain their manual.

They do take them without a manual but it lowers the value by 1 in my local.

As far as their online goes, it is accurate however it only reflects what their systems say they have so does not account for items staff have saved, missing cases, stock errors, missing discs, stuff taken on wrong codes etc

No. But CEX buy most games, regardless of how old they are.

I've just put in an order for the first time ever with CEX and was wondering what their deliveries are like? Normally I'd just wait to find out myself but I've ordered Star Wars Battlefront 2 and am a bit giddy with excitement. Not played it for years and years.

@L_Franko I trade regularly online but have only ever ordered once. It came next day.

Saw some Jailbird with a ruck sack full of Hornblower, SHarpe and Laurel and Hardy DVDs.

Obviously just robbed them off some poor gran, she was sweating and twitching like Michael Barrymore at a pool party.

    Well, you judgemental bastard.
Perhaps she's really, really into period dramas and has hit upon hard times. Perhaps she was just sweating and twitching from having to queue next to low-life scallywags like yourself.

Question about Royal Mail you mean? As far as I know, Special Delivery is not free to a freepost address, and a quick google seems to confirm but not prove that.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!
