Love Arcade Fire live. The music drops the somewhat muso pretension that people weigh on it and they simply become a great band to boogie to. :D

Aaaaaaaaaah fuck it. It cost a fucking bomb but cheers, Merlinho, I just booked tickets to see them at the O2. Shame it's seated be hell it'll be worth it.

(and this is at the cost of not seeing Vampire Weekend and Janelle Monae, who I love far more than the headliners)

Love this little short docu with Terry Gilliam - the ending is wonderful!

New personalised 'video' to We Used to Wait. Pretty interesting stuff I think, but really does need Chrome to get it working it seems.

The grammy people have lost their mind...who are the Suburbs and how in heck did they win album of the year...smh

The Arcade Fire album is 10x better than the rest of the list.

Need You Now - Lady Antebellum (I must admit I've never herd of this?)
The Fame Monster - Lady Gaga
    Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
    Recovery - Eminem

Pity it's a bit of a dull album.

I love this album, it is a bit of a grower, I didnt know what all the fuss was about at first, but it really is very good.

Disappointed they didnt play Deep Blue which is my fave song on the album.

This, entirely. I was massively disappointed when it was released, and now I can't get enough of it.

Win Butler will not be amused.

They're a bit like Radiohead when it comes to the mainstream.

I'm just listening to Funeral now, and I'm finding it hard to see how they're a band in the same vein as they once were. I can appreciate criticism that their songs once ran together slightly to well, although how much that is a criticism I don't know. I love the way the album starts out with the Neighborhood(sp) quadrilogy with it's interesting weaving of melody and mood, combined with the dropping of Une Annee Sans Lumiere in the middle, just to confuse you if you're trying to follow the lyrics in English. After that it allows itself to fall into more recognisable songs a la Suburbs but i'd argue that the only reason we don't know the names of Funeral's songs as well as we do those of the more poppy Suburbs is that by the time Wake Up comes around, the delirium of Neighborhood and Crown of Love have already absorbed us. If we were worried, there's no need as probably the best song with Regine at the vocals tops out the album with In the Backseat.

The Suburbs just isn't that good. It's just some good pop songs.

Yes you've seen and heard 'Wake up' a million times, but wait until 2:05 for epicness.
