    Pfffftt!

59.99 for the digital version from Blizzard's online store?

Fucking hell, looks like it's an old-school retail disc for me. I just hope there's no issue with activating the retail cd key on my Battle.net account (liie a Steamworks game).

That's Activision for you, was the same with Modern Warfare 2 on Steam (59.99, that is).

Game is decent, doesn't feel it has moved anywhere, so this sequel could have come at any point within the last however many years, of course it is looking nice now and the bits between missions is really nice. I think some things as to how you play the rts could have changed but meh. My current scoring is 8.5/10!

This is pretty much as expected as they aren't going to too mess with the formula too much else they will have 5million angry Koreans to deal with.

What i'm hoping is the multiplayer matches are stable and that the new ranking system is top notch meaning you only play against similar level opponents. I have faith here as you would have to have mutiple battle net ID's if you wanted to pretend to be a noob. It should track peoples stats very accurately.

I also like the sound of the single player challenge modes and i'm hoping these are good.

btw its only 37 in Asda.

in fact it's only 35 with free delivery on their online store.

Not sure if you have to be on my friends list first but:

    My Character name: Spark
    My Character code: 968

If that works then it means we don't have to post email addresses around.

How do you set up a Battle.net ID? I've only got my email address associated with my account. I just logged into Battle.net to look for an online ID option, but can't find one.

i think you do it in-game.
the only thing associated with my battle.net ID seems to be my email.

Okay, so Spark is right, you need their name and character code to add someone that way.

In which case, mine is ReTrY, and 912.

I'm now stuck with the error "no SCII registered to this account" even though I can see it in my Battle.net account. :(

    Any ideas?

I've not even installed it yet but have you:
a: entered your serial code from the boxed version and associated it to your battle.net account.
b: tried starting up the game and logging on while connected to the internet

Anyhoo, I picked up the Collector's Edition on my way in to work this morning. Bit mental, as I never really buy collector's editions (well, actually, this is only the third one I've ever bought (GTA IV and Demon's Souls are the others)).

Looking forward to opening it up, the original Starcraft is the only game whose manual I actually enjoyed (I loved the stories on the origins of the three races).
