    Best show on TV.

The Americans is filling the gap between seasons nicely.

I'm a little on again off again with this tv show. I started to watch it two months ago. I really enjoyed season one a lot, but season two I've found much less of a draw. Does it pick up again, should I put in the time to finish season two?

0 Margaret in the trailer as well. Is she not in S4 due to Macdonald's pregnancy?

It's usually a week after on Sky Atlantic isn't it?

Of course, a real fan will be downloading it the morning after it airs in the US, to watch it when they get back from work etc.

Some new guys, some old but no Margaret! \o/ and some interesting storylines being set up...

Not sure exactly who Harrow is hunting now...Just about anyone vaguely criminal it seems...

Also nice to see Ron Livingstone added to the cast and for people familiar with the Wire Herc!...With hair!...

AcidSnake - He can't see your sig, avatar, images or vids and talks about himself in the third person because he's proper old-skool...UID 24017

Good first episode although there was no muff shots. I think this season is gonna see Al Capone rise through the ranks and increase his rep, which is a good thing as he is always a pleasure to watch.

Harrow seemed to be following a paper trail, there was a definite purpose to his hits.

Great to have this back, was transfixed througout. Like it's spiritual predecessor, The Sopranos, this is top tier TV - it operates at heights that I think even Breaking Bad doesn't quite reach.

Also share the regret on the lack of muffshots

Definitely agree that this is Al's season. The way last season left off, and how he corrected the journalist's spelling mistake of his name. He is ready for the big time :D

Some good Chalky screen time too, think he will be more prominent by the looks of things... also, Herc from The Wire has appeared!

    HBO rock.

Quickly becoming one of my all time favourites. Got hyped up again when the opening music kicked in. Great first episode.

    Tomorrow can't come quick enough.

Thought some of the scenes in the season opener were stunning in how they were composed, lit (especially some of the outside in dusk scenes) etc. Sublime directing.

I wonder if Gillian's new friend is as much of a patsy as he appears?

Lovely to have it back. Looking forward to seeing how Chalky gets on with his club.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I love the way Nucky recognizes that Eddie has Alzheimers, and packs him off to Florida. I think Richard will become Nucky's driver/bodyguard. And I'm sure agent Van Alden will end up as Capone's right hand man. So many twists in this series.

I'm not sure Richard is coming back, although he has obviously got in trouble for not finishing the last one off. I wish he could get some peace and stay with his sister to help her raise the child.

Lots of lovely threads laid out in this episode. I'm not sure I think anything is wrong with Eddie other than that he has been around for so long that now he's been directly involved in the business he has decided to take a proper place within it. I don't think there is anything wrong with him. I think he was playing at being frail to provoke an argument.

Al Capone's stick was mental. Reminded me of

I always forget how great this is, each episode is a masterpiece.

Probably because they confidently refuse to use tv tropes to keep people watching and just let it speak for itself.

@Bananazniper Where is the evidence Eddie has that?!

He is recovering from getting blasted.

Great new dynamic they have added, love how he is 'only' a servant, yet is the only one allowed to backchat nucky because of their intimate relationship.

Loved his spiel when he was asked what he thought in the car, legend.

You remember the bit where he got shot and nearly died and is still recovering, right? Doesn't seem like anything else to me, Alzheimer's included.

Looking forward to seeing more of Jeffrey Wright (Narcisse), looks like he could be a great character.

Strange that Richard became such an emotional mess where an animal was involved.
