Is anyone else wondering if the Pakistan team have poisoned the English team somehow? What with all the illness and such.

I think my dislike of this side is making me racist.

Get the feeling that Swann could elevate himself to another level this winter in Australia.

Well he could become an all time great for us is what I meant, possibly our greatest ever spinner, if he has a dominant series against the Aussies for us.

Yeah, a few match winning efforts down under, and if we win the series we're talking all-time-legend alright (although as far as spin goes he does not have much recent competition).

Well this is going better than I expected.

Still, if those two are still there with 10-12 overs left, anything could happen. If Razzaq goes I'll be able to relax a bit.

Are Aussie pitches good for spin?

Great run out from Morgan! He had only one stump and nailed it. Man of the match I think.

Morgan to the rescue again and that's him on the plane next month, if there was any prior doubt.

Pakistan won't get more than 200.
    My bookie wins ;)

    Good call that man.

Yeah, always the way at this time if the year with day/nighters in England. Bit of a joke.

I like to think that the margin with which we beat them means overall we deserved the series win.

The kookabura ball is not so good for flight and drift though, which might cause our Swanny some issues.

I missed the end of the match and this was the first place I went to in order to find out what happened. That's right - not cricinfo, not the BBC, but the EG cricket club. That's how much I respect you all.

    Hugs?

High fives for now, I'll save the hugs for if we beat the Aussies in their (out)back yard :)

I had something more intimate planned for that eventuality, but I'll settle for high fives on this occasion.

This insult to cricket series all finished then? Good, now let us expunge it from the record books and never mention it again. Never have I been less interested in a sporting contest than this.
