    Agreed, 100%

    Upon observation...

Ryu has his 3rd Strike kick back and it has a critical wire effect too!
Ryu has Target/Chain combos (much more fun and easier to use than Links) I assume this will be a universal gameplay function due to rythmic chain combos being a Tekken staple.
Ryu rolled into a SRK! 0.0
I'm going to love this game.

(Sorry about the Ryu spam above, but it's interesting to see SF adopt some tekken traits, and apart from Kazyua jumping higher, Tekken has done everything else Street Fighter has and then some)

I must say that Kazuya's design is awesome. All credit to Capcom's art department for making him look like the original and yet still fitting in when facing Ryu. His sneer at the start of the match is perfect.

Not out for two years! Why show this really early version now.

I used to be a gamer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Yeah, can't wait to see Yoshimitsu (he's guaranteed surely) It'll be interesting to see how Namco adapt Street Fighter's characters into Tekken's more realistic art style. I think they have a much tougher job.

Yoshimitsu is a good one to bring up, as he converted fairly well into a Soul Calibur fighter despite it being a game with fairly different mechanics. I have high hopes.

The first 3 Tekken games weren’t that 3D in the true sense anyway. You could just about step around people but it was pretty clunky, and the vast majority of moves happened on a 2D flat plane.

It does look like a few of the tekken mechanics have crept in. The rolls and wallbounces could be interesting.

Kazuya looked pretty much how I imagined the tekken chars would play. His signature moves would appear to be command moves and his combos look like they are target combos.

The only thing im not keen on is the length of time the team up supers seem to take.

They don't appear to differ that much from SSIV's Ultras. Have you ever been caught in Ibuki's Ultra 2? hahaha.

Hopefully they wont be as easy to pull of either so you wont see them as much during a match, I think the player should have to work for these tag ultras.

Yeah, wasnt keen on that either. Or Akumas U2, although no one ever picks it.

But these did seem excessively long. Hopefully, they will be harder to land/do/get meter for so you wont see them as often.

I've always love dSF, but am complete shit on the whole.

I used to be a bit partial to Tekken, with Tekken 3 being probably the only fighter I could ever feel anywhere near competitive playing against upper tier players (with Jin).

Although I switched off Tekken after the third, the combination of the two sounds like my perfect fighter. The fighter I love the most, combined with the only fighter I was any good at.

    A DREAM! :)

Capcom's Yoshinori Ono's become a menace! :) As you can see, Namco Bandai Harada's would-be return-of-fire however, was scuppered by Capcom's security. Great stuff!

“So Namco Bandai has no say in anything we do in Street Fighter x Tekken and vice versa for Tekken x Street Fighter — we have no idea what that’s going to look like and we cannot object to whatever Namco does!”

He jokingly added: “If they go down the Dead or Alive route and Chun-Li comes out rather sexy, we STILL can’t say anything!”
Yoshinori Ono, talking to Siliconera, recently. I think this is the best way to do this, to throw it all out and let each side deliver their interpretation of the respective "opposing" franchise. I still can't wait to see a Namco Bandai take on Street Fighter, and its cast of brawlers! :D

Of course, I'll be checking out SFxT to support this, and hopefully, enjoy another class fighter. Although I'm most keen (can't you tell!) on TxSF, I am also looking forward to discovering how Capcom's game turns out.

Even though this related art looks funny, I have no idea what it's about. It was posted by Ono, recently.
