Does this game ever actually end? Every time I think it's winding up for the end game, there's another multi-part fetch quest to dive into. There's no real reason that certain NPCs should want to 'test' you twice, and there's surely no reason that the Song of the Hero needs to be split into four, which each bit presumably requiring me to go through some sort of trial or test.|
It all feels a bit filler-y at the moment. Yesterday I had to dive for tadtones, and at first I thought 'this is easily the worst thing I've ever done in a Zelda game'. But after a minute it started to feel almost a bit calming and therapeutic. I appreciate that they switch up the areas and the things that you're asked to do - and crucially, the gameplay is still fun - but I'm feeling like the game is starting to go on too long - I've got 44 hours on the clock.
Maybe it's just that I've played three Zelda games in a row since Christmas.
