I watched the first episode of Badults the other day on t'BBC three. The trailers suggest it channelled Mighty Boosh, and while the first episode did have some similarities it's a little less random, with less characters and less original tunes. Basically nothing like Boosh.

Looking forward to the second series of Bad Education soon. I really liked the last series.

Yeh I enjoyed Bad Education as well. Was really not expecting to as well.

I thought Badults was bloody awful, it was like they'd watched The Young Ones and Bottom as kids and decided to make their own comedy free version of it later in life.

They maybe Fringe darlings and everyone in the industry seems to love them but I wanted to reach in the TV and slap them, I also don't know what drugs they were on and/or what guns were pointed at the audience because they were laughing hysterically at nothing every 10 seconds.

I wasn't that taken by the first episode of Count Arthur Strong, but gave the next 2 a go on iPlayer last night...I was laughing so much my wife got out of bed to see what was wrong.... I don't often laugh out loud, but this really had me going.

I'm a fan of Brett Domino and C-Bomb is his alter ego - Yorkshire's number 1 dubstep DJ. A decent 20 minute pilot. Not sure if it has the potential for a series but enjoyable all the same

\o/ Love Phoneshop so much, just horribly hilarious. If only it were on for a 'our!
    A 'our?!
    A 'our!

It's mad how much of the dialogue is improvised, but since the guys who play Ashley and Jerwayne went to drama school together, it's not surprising that they have so much chemistry.

First ep of Phoneshop S3 was okay. Some good lines here and there but the episode was fairly unremarkable

It was a weird choice of opener, taking everyone so far out of their comfort zone. Did enjoy Christopher's mental makeover though. Interesting to see if the others will still be so scared of him in future episodes.

Not as good as any S1 or 2 episode. Just didn't really work. Hard to put my finger on why.

Who is responsible for giving that shite figures that resulted in more than one episode, let alone another series?

I'd have only sold it to fund another series of this anyway.

Pains me to say it but this series of Phoneshop is not as good as previous ones, so far. I think maybe it has become too knowing somehow, too stylised.

The one with the dog was good, and last weeks with the son had moments, like when shelly's on the phone giving him a bath "come here let's give it a proper wash" - the look on Jerwayne's face was gold. I'll catch last nights one later, but yeah it's not quite up there with series 1 or 2.

The whole dog thing was really funny but I'm just not feeling it this time around, as a whole.

Has no one given Count Arthur Strong a go? Started slow, but it rapidly got very good. Graham Lineham doing a mainstream sitcom.

    Second series has been commissioned.

Count Arthur Strong is alright - much prefer him on radio though.

I like Family Tree. Hardly hilarious, but quite funny and very gentle. It's enjoyable - even the wannabe David Brent is alright.

Me and gf watched the Friday Night Project on 4oD recently, I quite liked that too - the dad's fun.

Do you perhaps mean Friday Night Dinner? Both series of that have been ace, and Robert Popper is a bit of an internet/paperback God.

Hmm, looking at his wiki writeup he's done loads of good stuff, and also 'Look Around You' Series 2.
