Just completed the demo, still can't help but find the game twitchy as to play, not sure it grabbed me. It feels a bit loose. The graphics are gorgeous though.

Generous demo but I found it all a bit bleh. The graphics are extremely unimpressive and the controls overly twitchy but there are some interesting mechanics so perhaps the full game will draw me in...

The in game graphics are fantastic, it's the cut scenes which are a let down, the voice acting isn't bad either. I still don't like the way Cole traverses buildings though, if it was like Assassins Creed's it would be nigh on perfect.

Interesting, I found the scaling of buildings to be easy and intuitive. I've never played asassins creed games, but my brother has played them all and says that sometimes the controls are bit finicky and can be very frustrating when trying to climb things.

They're great when climbing buildings, but frustrating for everything else.

The demo of Infamous 2 sucked ass but so did the first game so yeah.

The first game is one of the most average games I've ever played. PS fanboys overrate it.

A lot of people are complaining about twitchy controls but it's just a case of what they're familiar with.

They've been 'educated' by the painfully sluggish controls of Rock Star games and Assassin's Creed. An open World game where your avatar actually responds in a timely fashion rather than your button presses being stuck in a staggered queue of canned animations can feel a bit strange initially.

I found the controls fluid and intuitive. Playing the demo of the first one took my impression of the game from MEH to must get based on that.

First game was class, being a fanboi or not has nothing to do with it. I suppose all the reviewers should bow down to your superior knowledge.

I don't seem to quite get the climbing controls. In the vids I've watched Cole can scale buildings in seconds, bit I always seem to get stuck on every other ledge.

You should get faster with some practice climbing buildings, to a certain extent it's about reading the walls and getting to know the grip points and planning your ascent using useful features like the drain pipes.

A bit harsh. I don't put my played games on my eg profile. Got far more important things to do.

However I did like infamous but will probably wait till i2 is under £2

After being somewhat unimpressed with the demo for Infamous 2 I went back to it after playing Infamous and the sequel is a lot better in every way. Infamous has absolutely the most annoying, generic enemies in any game ever, but things are much more fun in Infamous 2. (y)

Oh and Infamous also doesn't seem to autosave, that cost me a few hours of playtime. >(

First game class ? Please tell me your joking ? Its easily the worst PS3 exclusive by a mile.

'' Your profile lists no games in your collection. So what are you comparing it with u fuckwit. ''

Oh wow my profile hasn't got a list of games I play big wow. Like I said the first game sucks ass. I'd even take Haze or Lair over infamous any day.

Infamous is just so last gen in every way. Graphics suck, story is awful, camera and controls are game breaking and the gameplay is nothing special.

Infamous = 4/10 and thats being generous.

Yeah. It's obviously possible because the guy in the video's doing it, and it's good that it doesn't do it all for you. The speed that Cole can get from one side of the map to the other in some of these videos is mind boggling. And he was no slouch in the first game.

Have they mentioned anything about transfering saves from the first game? I'm sure it came up as a possible feature.

Powers and levels carry over and you get something if you collected all the blast shards.

Infamous was not the greatest looking game ever, but it was fun , although limited in terms of premise and enemies etc, but then again , does anyone ever criticise gta for having generic bad guys and effectively being the same missions repeated again and again? People need to remember when criticising the first game , sucker punch were small devs and this was prior to sony releasing all the tools for devs and they most likely didnt get support other devs on exclusive games got. Infamous 2 looks to be big improvement all over, and even though im not usually a fan of open world games i enjoyed the demo and could see myself playing it in the future.

Infamous 2 is a day one for me, if you have a PS3 and decide to buy Duke over this your a fool.

inFamous is pretty much my favourite PS3 game, so I've been pretty excited to try the demo.. and I'm rather disappointed now that I have. The gameplay feels just as good, and the city is a lot less generic.. but I just can't get into it for some reason.

I think my biggest problem is Cole. He doesn't look, act or sound anything like the person from the first game, I'm not even convinced this is the same character. Yes, he might have been pretty bland to begin with, but I just don't feel any connection from the first game and have no motivation to find out what happens to this new Cole.

I have to say I find Cole's 'trailertrashisation' a bit off putting. The horrible tattoos really annoy me.

Enjoyed the demo and enjoyed inFamous 1 so just placing my pre-order for 2.

Graphics and responsiveness much improved in the demo but I agree with some comments around the twitch controls - I found Cole "sticking" to certain items which affected gameplay.

E.g. I was low on health so ran around a corner and down an alley, there was a small step a couple of feet off the ground on the way and I expected Cole to simply run over/down it as it was basically a step. Instead he promptly "stuck" to it and then proceed the high-wire tip-toe to the corner of the step. I had to jump (off a foot high step!) to get him back on course - nearly caused me to die as I was being chased.

I found the escort mission odd in the respect the enemy totally ignore the person you've freed. She was strung up ready to sacrifice yet when you free her the enemy appear not to give a toss anymore and just make a beeline for you while she just stands there. I would have expected they would have tried to at least "recapture" her and try to drag her back to the sacrificial area - it made the mission feel slightly dumb.

I've had the game since Friday and am really enjoying it so far. It's nice to be pretty super powered from the off this time round, but you still have a lot of powers to earn.

Graphic style is nicer this time round, getting around seems easier than the first game, but apart from some minor additions to the game it's more of the same (which is not a bad thing at all)! I haven't got too far into the story yet, but so far, so good :D
