To me though the main quest is getting to the top of all the guilds...never finished Oblivion's main quest either.

Do you guys actually expect Bethesda to annouce games in a timely manner and then stick to the criteria?
Evidently none of you endured the wait for Morrowind.
It will come and when it does it will be awesome. And late. By a year or two. But it will be great. -

Registered 3 years agoI'm actually gutted that ES5 hasn't been announced, of all the things I expected at E3 that was at the top of my wishlist. Hopefully they'll announce it at one of the events later this year but I'm not going to hold my breath.
I'll just have to get Oblivion PS3 to keep me occupied (seeing as I had it originally on the 360). -

Registered 6 years agoIn light of recent announcements, I think it's almost a given that TES:5 is being built using id tech 5. They do like to make each entry in the series a big step forward from the last... so this would certainly be a very good way of doing such a thing. -

I'm badly in the mood for a fix of another Morrowind/Oblivion type fantasy game. If I wanted an MMO, I'd have about 54,283 other games to pick from. What alternative would I have to a proper Elder Scrolls V?

Registered 6 years agoDemon's Souls is the only RPG that's held my attention as long as Oblivion did since Oblivion. Sure there have been other good RPG's (F3, Mess Effect etc.) but yeah, I really crave or an open world RPG in the same vein as Morrowind/Oblivion. -

Registered 9 years agoThey'd better not put Fallout 3's shoot them in the face simulator in. That completely ruined the game for me.
I'd rather it was turn based with more varied attacks. -
So this has pretty much been announced now.
It's got to be the project that they've "got a lot of it done" surely? If not it's gotta be the other one.
