Familiar pattern adopted. At least we should have some decent balls in with Baines. Pitch is shocking

England playing their usual scintillating stuff. What a bore! Can they not keep the ball for more than a minute?

It had settled down over the last few years.

Desperately need someone to put their foot on the ball. Same old same old

Was it arsenals pitch that got criticised when new? Must be a bit of a bugger trying to engineer a playing surface on time and to specification like that.

It should settle down in a few years. Perhaps. If they didn't keep playing gridiron and Robbie Williams concerts on it....

Nah, ours has always been spot on. Part synthetic, and as you say, doesn't have concerts on it every other week!

They're probably still trying to pay of the huuuge bill for getting the new Wembley built. So they probably feel they need all the wacky events on it.

So Belgium have qualified, maybe a dark horse for the tournament next year, or at least to reach the semi finals or so.

XBox Live, Origin, PSN and Steam: teamHAM

Added to that is that it's a bit like an aeroplane in that anytime it's not being used it's costing an arseload of cash

I've not been to the new Wembley, is it as dark during night games as it looks on telly?

    No, it's not dark.

The main issue with it is the complete lack of atmosphere. It holds no sound whatsoever.

Fair play. Didn't know emirates was part synthetic. I was sure I heard there was a new stadium pitch was poor quality but must have been wembley.

Pretty much every Scottish football fan over 40 has a bit of the wembley pitch in their back gardens from *that* game. Could get the thing relaid!

I was at the NFL game a couple of weeks ago, and it was 5000% more entertaining than this rubbish.

Given the amount of grey in it...

This beard's becoming like a ghost beard.
