Weird, just before I checked the forum, Orbital's Event Horizon theme came on iTunes :)

    New Orbital tracks... Awesome.

Was thinking about Orbital the other day and when they'd release new stuff, sounds good!

I quite like The Gun Is Good. Don't Stop Me, not so much. It's not terrible, just a bit meh.

Their not doing a new album. They are going back on hiatus after this summer.

Paul Hartnoll has a new album due out early next year if that makes you feel better though.

Anyone got their latest album: Wonky?

I'm liking it so far. Way better than their last. Title track is a not to my taste but the rest are standing up well to repeated listening.

Got the deluxe version off itunes which includes an excellent live set of some of the classic tracks

The Hartnoll brothers have not disappointed me yet, and the Wonky digipak should arrive monday.

After 2 days of solid listening it's a proper return to form. Elements of snivelisation, in sides and brown album are all there. Well worth the purchase.

They are doing a tour next week.

I've seen them do a final gig about 4 times now.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I'm finding Wonky to be pretty lame to be honest. It's 'ok' but nothing special really.

I think the days of them producing another Snivilisation or In Sides are long gone.

I am pleasantly surprised at the decent-ness of Wonky. As said above, it evokes memories of Brown Album, Snivilisation and In Sides in parts, with subtle concessions to contemporary electronica. Reckon they've managed this balancing act a bit better than Underworld did with Barking and all...

Beezlebub is the only out and out duffer for me. Wasn't sure about the title track at first, but it's grown on me and I quite like it now!
