    i have a dilema now....i have and was going to replay both ico and sotc on my bc 60g ps3 but after this news do icash them in and wait for this??? hmmm

    I've got a pretty decent PC but it isn't enough to get SotC playable (let alone smooth) at 720p, never mind sillyrez. Only paedos and folk who really should get fired into the Sun complain about the frame rate in SotC.

    Well all I was saying was that I wanted to play it. My PS2 is in the loft and I can't be arsed to dig it out.

    Just out of interest are there any PS2 emulators for the mac around?

    With a release date of June next year which would suggest last Guardian after this time (if Amazon France know something we don't of course)

    Unlikely. Amazon just like putting random things in their database so people can preorder them, and so their social networking stuff (lists and reviews and all that) works. Doesn't mean they know any more than we do, especially wrt release dates.

    Edit: BTW would some friendly mod mind editing the title? AFAIK this is still largely unsubstantianted, and we've no idea of the date.

    I hope ICO and Shadow of the Colossus collection is out after The Last Guardian. Otherwise you know what SCEE will do, hold back the release for months so it can form the core extras on an overpriced box set as they did with God of War Collection.

    makes sense. if there's going to be an HD Classics range as looks certain then they would be two of the main games. i was on a break from gaming in 2005 and only just bought the ntsc version of SotC this year on ebay, might sell it soon as this is announced though as i haven't bothered to play it yet.

    The whole point of re-releasing them would be to ride the wave of Last Guardian and make a bit more cash.

    Great news... I've regretted getting rid of SotC. I'd never completed it so don't know why I sold it. I never really got into Ico but SotC has to be one of my favourite games ont he PS2. There was nothing like it at the time on the PS2 and there still isn't on any of the current gen consoles.

    It'll come at the same time as The Last Guardian, whenever that is, probably with a limited set as with GOW3.

    I don't own a PS3, but if all this stuff accociated with team ICO actually happens I will simply have to but one.

    I'm sure 'outsiders' (lol), who see people going on and on about how good SotC is, just dismiss it as people getting over-excited about nothing.

    But SotC really did change my perspective on games and wake me up again to what games should be about. It has so many great basic elements (boy & his horse, maiden in distress, 2 weapons - no ammo bollocks, David & Goliath thing going on, epic feel to the Colossi) that are coupled with the fantastic atmosphere and creative vision of the environment.

    If The Last Guardian is half the game that SotC was it really is a £250 worthwile investment as far as I'm concerned. The way the boy and the beast need to act as one in TLG is pure genius in my eyes.

    I think they would be mad not to release a HD version, makes sense if they want to push sales of The Last Guardian, plus, it would sell really well, the GOW remakes did very well indeed and if they feel re-makes of the Sly games are worth making then they would be pretty dumb not to see the potential with this.

    Be patient people, it will come
