Look up the BBQ pit boys on YouTube, they do a fantastic looking pulled pork and they give loads of cooking tips iirc.

Aha, many thanks ecosse. It's my first time doing this on a bbq, really looking forward to it.

I've got some Weber hickory chips to add each hour too.

Cheers ecosse. Ok the pork shoulder has been on for an hour and already smells amazing. I'm maintaining a steady 125c, so this should be a cracker!

Do you use coals or the briquettes?
I tend to use briquettes but lately I have grown a bit bored of them. They seem so artificial...

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

How did the pizza go ecosse? I've had 2 goes on a pizza stone, first time was too hot, and I left them too long - perfect on top, but on 2mm of charcoal. 2nd attempt didn't get it hot enough.

    Potential is there though!

    Well, how was it?

A big success. Melt in the mouth tender and delicious. Next time I would use about half the amount of wood though, as the smoke almost took over the flavour of my spice rub.

    Ta for the tips mate.

That's pretty cool, I never actually knew I wanted one until now!
I think I might wait for a bit until I've saved up for a roof to go over my garden though.

If you put a roof over your garden isn't it just your house?

It was just a reference to the shitty weather we were having. Lovely today though, Sainsbury's on the way home to pick up some meat I think :D

    Here's a great tip - buy a tandoori oven from here :)

Not quite ready yet....thought I'd try and make some money reselling them. Mine should be here this week.

Anyone got any tips for BBQing peppers, aubergine and flat mushrooms?

Should add, that's the sides, my chicken is marinating in a dry rub already :-)
