    You have PS+ with a 40GB PS3? Wow, I thought I was pushing it with my 60GB (that I soon upgraded a to 320GB after getting PS+).
Yeah - I usually only have one game on the go at a time so didn't think it'd be a problem; then I realised that you need double the space of the actual download :(

I don't have too many complaints though - I've easily gotten my money's worth on the games I have been able to download and it's only the odd one or two I've not been able to install.

Should've probably done a little research beforehand :)

    I only have a 4gb card. Uncharted is 3.3gb. It's a problem.

For the last week I've been doing exactly as you suggested, and it's a massive inconvience.
I've not picked up a Vita yet but it does seem like 8GB is the minimum card size :/

It was literally the only one they had at the time. So it was that, or not be able to use the Vita at all.

Now rocking 12gb in total thanks to an 8gb card. Still not enough though. When the fuck can we get the 64gb without importing it? And will it be less than a million quid?

Oh dear. I've been chuffed with the three months of PS+ I've had but as I won't be getting a PS4 anytime soon. It's not looking too good for the PS3 if that list is anything to go by.

Ah well, I've got plenty of stuff from PS+ I've not even started yet so the gradual wind down of my sub as I finish them isn't too bad a thing.

It's a track racer rather than an open world one so it's quite a bit different.

I didn't buy Grid 2 down to the lack of cockpits, I suppose I can give it a try now I don't have to spend any cash.

Always wanted to play Guacamelee eventually so this is good. Pretty much done with NFS Most Wanted so a new racing game is good too.

    PS+ noob question:

Once downloaded, can you play the free games for as long as you like or do they 'deactivate' when the month is up?

i.e. if I activate my sub on the 26th and download Strangers Wrath, then Guacamelee the next day, I'll still be able to play Strangers Wrath until I choose to delete it, yes?

Yep, any game you download from PS Plus stays on your PS3 until your PS Plus subscription runs out. Case in point, I downloaded Demon Souls in June and am still playing it now. Don't worry though, if your subscription runs out and you want to reactivate it at any time afterwards, you will have access to those games again.

If it's on your account (so you've "bought" it from the PSN Store) you can download and run it at any time that you're subscribed to PS+.

You don't even need to download the games during that month. You can 'buy' the games from the website or store, then download them when you want to play.

So if you aren't planning to buy a PS4 at launch, buy the PS4 games from the website and if/when you eventually do by one, the games will be there waiting for you.

Just about to install Uncharted 3... How did people eventually get round it not installing properly as it's taken over 30 hours to download and I don't fancy having to do that all over again!

For me it just showed up UNCHARTERED MULTIPLAYER and I couldnt work it out for ages, until I actually went into it and saw a single player option sat there, which is totally user friendly.

But, yeah, I downloaded everything but paused the 3D movies at 0k then, when I was sure the game worked, deleted the file.

Yes, I downloaded the multi-player (you have to, unfortunately), the single player and those 2D movies thing-me-bobs ... ignore the unnecessary 3D movies thingummies unless you have a 3D television, of course!

Uncharted 3 took a lifetime to download. Worth it though.

Oh, I saw these one year PS+ pass in HMV for 29 last Wednesday if anyone wishes to continue their 'rental' service.

    : )

I've downloaded all four files, so can I just install the main one, it'll then install the others, and I can then delete 3d?

    Bonus, if so!

Just how useful is the 12gb hdd if I'm obviously willing to memory manage - one game at a time style. Am I going to be stopped from downloading anything from plus?

Not very. Unless you want to play PS1 games.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.
