@wobbly_Bob I got the same no save present message, but after that the menu worked fine for me. Maybe just try again?

Wierd. I did try again but not working. I then tried deleting the save and trying but still no. I'll give it another go and see tho. Cheers.

    Ok strange. It's working now!

@spindle9988 Yep, it's on. Just under 10gig. If you haven't remotely started the download, I wouldn't expect to play it tonight. Not completely sure I'll be able to and I've got a 120mps line and started it before lunch. PSN is so insanely slow sometimes.

Thanks mate. If I have left my ps3 on standby, Is there any way to start the download from the website?

You can add it to your queue via the website (which is nice and quick doing it that way) so if it's on I should imagine it would kick in but not if it's just on standby.

You can also switch your PS3 on remotely using a Vita.

Edit: I think so anyway. Never tried it using mine.

I don't know what Malicious is, but I downloaded it anyway. Catherine too.

I tried to download Absolution but got some 8MB DLC gun instead. Will try again later.

    @crispyduckman

Thats awesome i actually didn't know that. I thought the Vita didn't talk to the PS3 outside of special apps like content manager and guacamelee. Is there anyway to get the vita to actually control the ps3 without resorting to going to remote play on the ps3 first ?

Any who started downloading Catherine, it is the very definition of "iam interested in but dont want to buy in case dont like". Really must delete stuff on my hard drive i basically download every psplus game and is filling my 500GB a fair bit.

Or i could play them i guess but Steam Hording mentality :)

I won't be buying into the next-gen early. The PS+ downloads, as they are, will keep me going for a long time to come. There will come a time when PS3 support from it will not be as good as it currently is - my stockpiling has already prepared me for that!

@Sharzam Don't quote me on this but I think it's all through remote play. However, there's a way of setting things up so that you can switch on the PS3 and initiate remote play through the Vita. Sorry if I'm completely wrong though. Can anyone help?

Can't seem to DL hit man. First thing it downloads is a deus ex Dlc gun?! And then just hangs on the Hitman install which hard locks my PS3.

This is after having to download a system update. Then install the system update. Then download a store update. Then install a store update.

Just wanted to quickly queue it up before bed and that was 15 minutes ago. Really hope they sort their shit system out for PS4.

@richardiox Got enough space on the HDD? I think games need at least twice as much free space as the download itself, probably even a bit more.

They do. If the game states that it is 10gb, it will need 20gb. That's because it holds the 10gb on the drive as the download while it then unpacks it as you install it. Thus 20gb required.

It's frankly fucking stupid that it works like that, but then the iPod does exactly the same with updates to games.

I have 16 GB free, so I couldn't download Hitman or Catherine. Had enough room for Blood Dragon though.

I really should finish some games and delete them.

Should my Ps3 download things MUCH slower than my Xbox? Or is something wrong somewhere?
Last night my ps3 was on for three hours and managed to download about 600mb of stuff, meanwhile it took my Xbox 10mins to download 1.5gb of blood dragon. Both consoles are next to the router and connected wirelessly

Wired would be faster than wireless, but PS3 is not the quickest anyway.

Other thing to consider is that the Xbox may have gobbled your bandwidth allowance leaving the PS3 with a slower throttled speed from your ISP.

I've always been under the impression that the PS3's wireless adapter is a bit shitty - which is why I've always had it wired up. Full games (6Gbs or so) usually take about 20-30 minutes to download.
