Registered 3 years ago@StixxUK You don't need to download them, just "purchase" them from the store. To be absolutely sure I usually start the download but immediately cancel it. If you've got the red symbol when you go back then you know you've "bought" it and then you can download it whenever you want (whilst on PS+ anyway).XBL/ PSN/ Steam/ NNID - MatMan562

Registered 4 years agoupgraded the hard drive from 60gb to a 500gb (for ps plus goodness) but when trying to retore my backup I get an error at the end so looks like I've lost all my games saves and data!

That's a good point actually although I've only had plus a few weeks does it upload saves for games you've played or for all your game saves?Don’t kid yourself, Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he’d eat you and everyone you care about!

Registered 2 years ago@Rens11 I've found that whenever I put a new game in (or start a PSN one) it asks me if I want to allow it to upload the save data automatically. When I first got it a few months ago I manually went to the save files section and selected something along the lines of 'backup all save data to cloud' in order to backup the saves that were already on there. The PS3 turns itself on automatically to backup files if you allow it to do so. Hopefully you've done some of that.PSN ID: finn1

Registered 7 years agoI'm not getting my hopes up, there's not enough back catalogue content to give away anything amazing, so I predict:
Wipeout 2048 as the 'OMG' get people signed up game
Then lots of PSOne, PSP and Mini content since that can be shared with the PS3+.
And Reality Fighters.
Just having the cloud saves will make it great value for me in any case, so as long as a few of the PSOne/Minis are half decent then I'll be over the moon. -

Registered 3 years agoI haven't been on the PS Store in a few weeks so just went on to download everything I missed. I went to 'Freebies' and was greeted with a further 5 'Freebies' icons. Clicking the first had some of the games I was expecting but also had Starhawk on there, I clicked on that and was greeted with a further 4 Starhawk icons. Clicking the first revealed 'Starawk - Campaign Mode (Full Game)' for free and 'Starhawk - Multiplayer Mode (Full Game)' offered for £16 as well as a couple 'Game Packs' (which is what filled the other 3 Starhawk icons as well).
I don't recall hearing that the Starhawk campaign mode was being offered for free nor that it was coming so was it mistakenly put up or what?XBL/ PSN/ Steam/ NNID - MatMan562

Registered 2 years agoYep. I went with three months as a trial, too, back in August, and think it was very much worth it- so much so that I recently added a year to my subscription.
I've got to play some great games (Just Cause 2!) that I'd been wanting to try, while the automatic backing up of files is very handy. The extra discounts, trials, etc are actually quite decent as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing what they add for the Vita, too.PSN ID: finn1
