    Fucking hell, Dortmund are much better than I expected. Shit keeper though.
    Why on earth would you expect them to be anything but good?
    Did I say I didn't expect them to be good? They are better than I thought they would be though. I don't watch much German football. No arrogance intended.
    Well their last 5 seasons in the CL have been Runners Up,Quarter Final, Last 16, Quarter Final, Quarter Final. I thought you'd have seen how strong they are in Europe as they're easily in the top 10 in Europe over the last 5 years.

    Great result for Spurs, especially at Wembley :)

    @Armoured_Bear

    You're really not letting this go are you?

    I apologise if I offended you with my ignorance.

    Take it easy, no big deal, no offence meant.
    FWIW you didn't offend me but you did slightly disappoint me ;-)

    To be fair Dortmund have just sold their best player and have some major injuries, so it was fair to think they wouldn't be that good. And frankly they weren't great. They attacked a lot but didn't threaten a huge amount. Aside from the disallowed goal of course.

    Great result. Wembley Shmembly! Shame I can't fucking get home...

    Nice to see all the big English teams getting wins and clean sheets.

    Sounds like a good performance by Spurs, massive win in the context of the group. Kane is a machine.

    Shot at Liverpool?

    Anyways this is great for spurs especially if we don't drop points against Apoel meaning we could have a 6pt lead over Dortmund by the time we play Madrid

    Good games last night. Still much to play for too. I was disappointed at Liverpool slipping to a draw, but such can be turned around later & looking forward to the next game. Still a high chance of progress to next round, IMO. Yeah, Spurs & others doing well is a bonus too.

    This is the thing about getting an 'easy group'. It cuts both ways. We had an easy group last year and it turned out to be really hard for us. Whereas five years ago or whatever it was when we got the group of death we ended up winning it.

    Fact is, as happy as Liverpool would have been to get those teams in their group, I'm sure they were all equally happy to get Liverpool as well.

    Fancied Liverpool to wobble in their group tbh. Their home games are pivotal and they've bollocksed one already. They aren't getting anywhere with that defence anyway, an attack the likes of PSG or Real would show them up if they made it that far.
