Is there anything better in the world of football than knowing Chelsea lost a match at home?

With Chelsea losing, guess we won't be seeing TheHammarite for a few more days till their next win.

I'm nourished by the tears of Chelsea fans. It has been a nourishing few days.

    That is all.

Is it too late to enjoy this? And none of the awful Chelsea forumities to clog the thread.

How was Willian btw? Early days but feels like Spurs might have dodged a bullet.

Yeah, it's unusual to be a team others try to beat. How unfair for you.

I want us to beat EVERY team. There's not one that I want to beat more than the others, even Liverpool. I'd like us to destroy all of them. And I feel good about every victory.

    Average age tonight was 27.
TBF, that stat is skewed by Lampard and probably Eto'o.

Great win last night, played OK I thought. The game was a bit too open for my liking but we made the most of our opportunities. Awful decision for the pen mind.

I wouldn't want to be Fulham right now. Every chance Chelsea are going to absolutely murder them this weekend.

Still, the mask has slipped. There's nothing any more special about Mourinho than a bunch of other managers, especially now that he doesn't have the biggest wallet in the league. He's also a significantly bigger baby than most. There really is glorious potential for the second coming to be an extremely damp squib.

It was a poor performance overall but Basel had about 3 decent shots the whole game and managed to score two of them. At Everton it was finishing that was the problem, last night it was that final ball which let us down. That and they all got a bit too comfortable at 1-0 and didn't really push on to finish the game off.
I thought Willian was very good on his debut, very skillful, very fast, strong and he fitted in when players were switching positions, linking up and the like. Maybe he could have been a bit more direct but I think thats a criticism of the team rather then him and he was unlucky both Basel goals came after he was substituted. Eto'o was disappointing and Van Ginkel isn't quite ready yet but its still early days and this result might have come at the right time.

Yep, the mask has definitely slipped. He has become a poor imitation of his old self, and his decision to bring in Eto and loan out Lukaku made no sense whatsoever (considering his favoured style of frontman).

I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

And a complete lack of positional discipline from David Luiz.

G/luck tonight, should be a good game. With Messi out, Barca are there for the taking.

    Cheers.
Haha, I'm sure Neymar will have something to say.
I'm not remotely confident, I just hope that we don't get pumped...

The Celtic vs. Barcelona was the best match in the Champions League last year.

... kind of hope for something similar!

Don't have a quality finisher any more. At best the AC Milan game performance again then the inevitable happens again after not taking our chances. Pity because we aren't half bad sometimes. Brown, don't do anything too stupid early on.
