You need to compare Mourinho's success at Porto to Fergie's at Aberdeen.

Honestly, it's not even close. The guy has 15 (nearly 16) top tier titles to his name, many of which have been won despite teams with far more money and better players available to them, not to mention countless other trophies.

Not only that, but you're forgetting the likes of Shankley, Herrera, Hitzfeld, Capello, Trappatoni, Munoz, Paisley, Clough and probably many others.

Mourinho will be one of the greats but you're doing a great deal of managers a huge disservice to be calling him the greatest ever right now.

Mourinho got very, very lucky. Him parking the bus with his star studded team while being a man up summed him up as a coach, negative and small time.

He got lucky in 2004 when Scholes scored a goal that was chalked off despite being clearly onside. Ended up being the game that made him. Things could have been very different had that goal been allowed.

It's going to be 6 maybe 7 nil on aggregate to Juve, I'd switch off Celtic fans.

As Man U found out last night, europe is a different gravy and most teams will do that to you.

I wish I could disagree, they'll sit back all night and score several on the break, just like the first leg.

They have always needed to score 4 and if they do, they won't, they'll go through. Even if they scored 4 Juve will score at least one more.

The Fail are pretty pathetic, aren't they. The guy made a mistake, doesn't need a witchhunt/harassment.

Best thing about this article is that they got nothing out of him! So it's a piece about hounding a man at an airport, and getting no more than a "no comment".

    Typical from that rag.

Meanwhile, he might have blown his chances of refereeing the final.

Ah well, that's it for another year, quite frustrating to lose by 5 goals over 2 legs despite having the bulk of possession and chances.
We're just not quite good enough to get any further without just a bit of luck.
That Juve defence is bloody impressive , I'm well proud that we looked good at that level despite being a very young team that was assembled on a relative shoestring.
Can't believe we have three qualifying rounds next year :-(

All that needs to be said on that red card was the FIFA rules state that excessive force has to be used to warrant a red card, so the question is who here thinks that nani used excessive force trying to keep that ball under control?

Under the rules of the game, the ref got it wrong. That's all the needs to be said really. What's done is done.

What's the acceptable level of force you can apply to someone's rib cage with your boot?

@King_Edward I believe the mathematical formula is:

(Keane Tackle Strength x 0.5)- Weight advantage of opponent
    ---------------------------
    Number of feet used

It depends how hard you throw yourself in to it. The point where it becomes excessive force is beyond the point where you could legitimately claim to be attempting to control the football (For example, De Jong in the world cup final). People have had their legs snapped in half on a football pitch, with no punishment to the player committing the tackle. Denis Irwin ended Dave Busst's career and didn't even get booked. The punishment depends on intent and the use of excessive force. You could not say Nani used excessive force when merely attempting to control a ball at height, and he did not deliberately karate kick Arbeloa in the chest. It falls comfortably in to the reckless category of tackle, which carries a caution.

I'm kind of tempted to watch Galatasaray tonight because of Drogba but I expect Barcelona vs Milan to be one of the games of the year whatever way it goes.
