    They lack champions league experience...apart from most of their players have played in the league most of their careers.

    Luis Adriano banned for 1 game by UEFA for unsportsmanlike conduct.

    Banned for something that's not officially in the rules I think, warranted though for me and will hurt Chelsea so won't complain.

    Surely the simplest solution would be just to make it so less teams can play in europe so the best teams play each other more often.

    Missed Rosicky, played really well at the end of last season.

    From what I can tell finishing first or second really makes no difference in terms of the quality of teams we could face as it stands.

    We still look very nervous. And I don't feel confident about us seeing this out. That said...not sure I want us to. Having looked at the tables, I'd rather come second I think. Most of what I would call the 'better teams' are in second place. I know that can't really be the case as, well, they're second, and we'll get Barcelona if we finish second, but this is the first year I wouldn't have minded coming second.

    Rosicky is such a good player. We need him back and fit. I do hope that's just a tiredness 'injury' and not an actual injury.

    Not so concerned with coming 1st, think you're right about the stronger teams seeming to be in second, but I'm desperate for a win. Whatever you think about Wenger, this immense pressure on the team is not helping so it's vital we start relieving some of that. Failing to win tonight would just add to it all.

    I dunno. I do see what you mean, totally, and would normally agree, but I don't think a draw tonight is the end of the world. He's picked a much weaker side - yes I know the press will have a field day, and so will some Arsenal fans, but I'm not taking this as an 'Arsenal' game really. It's very nearly a B team out there. Still strong enough to be beating Panathinaikos, and should be, but not the end of the world if we draw...

    although they've just scored. Scratch what I've just written. We're shit.

    Urgh. Come on Arsenal..!

    Defeat would be a bit of a nightmare, lets at least get a draw. So sick of all the negativity in the press and twitter after every game. Don't care whether it was important or not, just really wanted to see an Arsenal win! Come on, at least make sure we don't see an Arsenal loss.

    Gervinho is so poor. So, so poor. Every time he does the same thing; slows it down to a walk, tries to entice the player to tackle him, and then tries to push it past them. Except that never works, because that's all he does, so they just lean in to him a little bit and knock him over.
