Registered 6 years agoIt's still £9.85 on 360 at Shopto, but it might be worth waiting - Zavvi/TheHut had Ultimate MvC3 for £13 for a couple of days last week. Then again, maybe not.
I cannot see a reasonable PS3 price anywhere.

Registered 9 years agoSorry, I'm looking for Ultimate. I sold MvC3 with the idea to upgrade via TheHut but after a month they didn't fulfil the order and have said there was no stock at that price?! I doubt they have any stock at all but I've asked; most places seem to out of stock except at the ~£40 price point!

I've been playing UMvC3 all this week and I'm liking it a lot, must have put over two hours in last night trying to get the combos down for my main characters. This game suits me much more than other 2D fighters as the input timing is more lenient but enough of a challenge to keep you interested. Great game.
Does anyone know if there is much interest online and if so is it only the pro's that still play? -

Registered 7 years agoThe problem I have with MvC is that, basically, the combos are so easy because everything else is so fucking hard. Im just far too old to co-ordinate a team properly.
Its fine being able to do a fairly lengthy combo with one person but the skill is to be able to, basically, kill someone with one hit, using all of you players.
If you havent already, go onto youtube and search for wesker combos. This is what will happen the first time you go online.---------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, I've been watching some of the tournaments Cross Counter post on their channel and there really are some stupid combos. 9 time out of 10 they will take out their opponents first character in one combo if the slightest of openings is spotted. Good to watch but I'm under no illusion I'll get anywhere near to that kind of level.

Registered 5 years agoSome of the mission mode combos are pretty useful combos in game,Thing I love about marvel is you can spend hours in training mode making up your own combos then look online and see all the things that you haven't even though about. -
Man, when SFIV vanilla came out about 3 years ago I was in love with it and played it religiously, got pretty good for my standards too. Still one of my favourite ever games without a doubt.
Can't seem to get excited about beat 'em ups in general anymore though, maybe I've just moved on a bit from then. I do want to play stuff like UMvC3 but there's too much other stuff out at the moment!! -
