Curating ATP at the end of the year and also doing a European/American tour sometime. But that's all it seems...

As someone who was lucky enough to see them live back in 2003, I can tell you they are one of the most devastatingly brilliant bands live that are quite unlike anything you will have experienced before. See them if you can!

The world feels a little more complete today.

This is good news this is. Still have never been to ATP either. Infact, I think i'll book a ticket and room come payday.

Also, the 'statement' on the second link is awesome :)

    Great news.

Saw A Silver Mt Zion last month, and while it was a brilliant gig they just didn't play enough older stuff for me. Although I always preferred them to GYBE I haven't really enjoyed their last few releases very much, so I'm looking forward to some new Godspeed.

Yeah, I saw them for the first time last month, and I love ASMtZ but some stuff from their first and second album would be lovely to hear live.

Godspeed live is just a whole different thing though. Hearing Moya BBF3 (Slow Riot) live is just astonishing, espically coupled with the trippy 8mm films they show.

Fucking awesome, incredible, unbelievable news. Saw ASMZ a couple of weeks ago and they were good but they always remind me of what's been missing in a way. I've waited so long for this.

I'd only be interested in this if they could persuade Labradford to reform and tour with them again.

Guess who's going to ATP curated by Godspeed?

    Not me.

    Oh wait.

    YEAH I AM.

This is the best thing ever. I never got to see them back in the day. I have already booked a chalet at ATP and can't wait for December.

If Labradford played too my life would be pretty much complete.

Don't wait till payday, most of the 2 and 3 berths are sold out already!

While they are only the first batch of chalet's, apparently, they have sold out quicker than any other ATP event ever. Which is nice.

Shame I work in shitting retail and can't possibly take time off at that time of year :(

The UK Tour has gone up for sale today. Act quickly, London has almost sold out.

I hope I have some money in the bank if and when the next load of ATP tickets go up, although so far I haven't been able to persuade any of my friends to come, but screw them!

I'm hoping to see them in November if the tickets haven't already sold out. Brilliant news about the new album too.

    Spoilers!

Edit* Pre-ordered. Orders of the LP have already been suspended due to high demand on their label's website but luckily there's a few UK distros doing pre orders too.

As awful as this sounds... I'm hoping iTunes will have a digital version, as the last time I ordered anything from Constellation it took them three weeks to get it to me.

So while I am ordering the album from them... I'm probably going to just download it on day one if possible.

Oh I have missed that GSYBE-style sample. Wonderful M-Eastern sound at the start.

    OH BOY

The one thing I most disliked about Yanqui U.X.O was the lack of any samples and field recordings. It sort of made the album feel a little cold to me.

So given this a few listens now and it's wonderful. Mladic is awesome from start to finish and probably one of the best build up's they have done since BBF3. Didn't think the drones were much first time, but they have actually grown on me, they perfectly blend between the two compositions making the whole album kind of sound like one 54 minute epic.

I just hope this is the start of more material being released from them.

The track We Drift Like Worried Fire is getting a hell of a lot of plays from me. So awesome to have some new material from them.
