I got Depth Hunter as part of an indie bundle and despite it being really hard to reel fish in on mouse (ok on 360 pad) it looks quite pretty and was a nice distraction for 5 minutes. Ultimately it's pointless, you can if you so desire swim around and take photos of fish if that floats your boat. Hell Nintendo did a non underwater Pokemon version of that as a game which someone paid for once I think.

Is this a video of Ven practising? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8w7XzQE7xWk

Think of the game as Sega Bass fishing mixed with an FPS but with all of the excitement removed and frustration added. It's sort of like that aquarium screensaver except you can move freely within it, and kill stuff.

Are you holding your breath in real life whilst you dive? If not, you aren't playing properly. Its actually a breath holding trainer.

I've always wanted to see the surrounding areas of Frankfurt up to the Dutch border but I was unable to venture there due to an irrational fear of German shipping lanes. Now I can take in the spectacular views without leaving my home.

    8 out of 10.

I know it's sad, but I really want that now. There's something I find strangely therapeutic in all these Sim games (apart from Street Cleaner Sim, which is awful. Yes, that's where I draw the line) and buzzing along a river does look like a different experience to Ship Sim.

I'll wait until it goes down in price a bit though, I have other stuff pre-ordered. Don't think I could handle Halo 4 and River Master at the same time without suffering an action packed aneurysm.

I swear if whoever reviews Halo 4 gets a River Master comparison in there I'll buy ad space.

Sorry I missed this earlier. As much as I appreciate the offer, I'll decline - too many new games just now. Cheers though :)

As for that stream, 3700 watching! I do like a nice bit of virtual farming, but I can barely believe there are thousands of others who do. I suppose someone else must be buying them on occasion.

I think it's just the fact GB is a pretty big site and the Quick Looks are usually pretty good no matter what the game. My favourite QL they've done was the Halloween DLC for Train Simulator 2011. At the end of the Quick Look the train just flew off the tracks and flew into the distance. It was brilliant.

Why did I just watch some of that? What was with the multicoloured screen when they were threshing that wheatfield?

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

It has to be said, that's a damn nice river system. I was looking at the Waser river earlier today wondering what it would be like to navigate. It's disappointing that this doesn't cover a bit north.

I'll wait for River Master II.

Lets face it, a copy of Bus Stop Simulator isn't a donation, it's a cruel taunt. Just as well send them tins of pre-chewed Spam.
