Another very good season and a good pick up after 2, which wasn't bad but I was a little disappointed. Consistently part of the better tv shows year on year.

Really good show this, just the last episode to watch.. the double-crosses were coming thick and fast so far, Quarles is an excellent bad guy, Olyphant is obviously awesome.

this is my favourite show on tv at the moment. the threaded storyline mixed with violence is right up my street

I also think its the best show on tv at the moment. A modern day western.

That last episode was top notch.
Such a crying shame that Quarles had to go; he was a fantastic character and will be hard to top come next year. I had a feeling he'd lose the arm somehow or at the very least his gun would jam due to the way he was always talking about it sticking.

I liked how Eva turned out to be/turned into a pimp who beat up and threatened her prostitute just like the guy she killed.

Finished Season 3 now. At first It didn’t seem as spectacularly good as the 2nd season, with the mags Bennett and family stuff and other stuff such as Raylan and Winona having to work together to dodge bullets, the black pipe lady and her storyline, Boyd’s refreshingly genuine attempt at going straight and sticking with it until his end of the black pike deal gave him the opportunity to reestablish his criminal empire etc.

But in hindsight I think it was every bit as good as season 2.

The dynamics they established between new characters such as quarles, limehouse, combining with boyd, errol, the other guy who was employed by errol to try and start a war between quarles and boyd, people like wyn duffy, dickie, raylan himself, ava, the prostitutes, Johnny, arlo were brilliant. Limehouse is one of the best characters I’ve seen on tv, every bit as enigmatic as mags. You sort of dislike him and like him at the same time, as his only real concern is keeping noble’s holler and his ‘people’ safe.

Boyd is the same. I loved seeing him trying to go straight in season 2, it showed that his ‘lightbulb epiphany’ was genuine despite raylan’s doubts, and he made a real go of it, but unfortunately he got sucked back in and couldn’t resist taking over Harlan again with Mag’s retirement and no real competitors. It’s difficult because he’s not really a sadistic character anymore like the white supremacist past, devil was disappointed in him for leaving that way, but he’s still a criminal. When he was arrested I was sort of disappointed and relieved at the same time. When he was set free I was also disappointed, and relieved, because there’s some good in him, but he’s still a criminal.

The last episode was also brilliant. The way limehouse chatted casually about old times and then surprised Errol that they were done was cool, as well as the the rest of what happened in the episode. The literal ‘piggy bank’ had me in stitches, till Raylan literally went hands on with quarles and kept my mouth open. Then it was revealed that Arlo was willing to kill Raylan just to protect Boyd, shocking, despite their differences, that’s going beyond what you’d think possible.

Brilliant show, along with Southland I’m surprised its not getting as much attention as the likes of Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones etc.

It's never been pushed in the UK for some reason, though it does really well for it's broadcaster in the states.

Liked Limehouse, but Quarles didn't really work for me as a character so I prefer season 2, but season three was still very good.

I kinda wished that Raylan had had a fast draw contest with Quarles and his sleeve gun thing but the finale was still great

Just started watching this. Great show. Love the Southern setting. The protagonist reminds me of a non-shit version of the Walking Dead's sheriff.

Season three is off to a flying start. I'm three episodes in and they have each been absolutely brilliant. Loving it.

Maybe im being a tad stupid (still havent had a fucking coffee this morning) but is there a possibility that Quarles could still be alive?. This is TV land after all.

Finished season 3 last night and thought it was excellent - maybe not quite as strong as season 2 but very enjoyable. Definitely looking forward to season 4.......

I'm also a Justified fan - even if the episode stories aren't the best ones, it's all so languid that I still feel as if I'm soaking up background and atmosphere, and more often than not the slower episodes are just preparatory work for the Genius ones.

The 3rd season is out on DVD in the UK on the 26th February, I think - probably no use to anyone here but I buy it for my Pa and Father-in-Law as they also love Justified but don't stay up late enough to watch it on TV and certainly don't watch it on 'puters.

Despite my love for it, I'm probably going to wait for it to be out on UK TV before I catch up with season 4 - that way I can watch it with my good lady wife, another fan of the show.

Got the first season for my dad at Xmas. Now he's hooked on the show. He wants to know what other shows he has been missing out on, plans to go on a boxset shopping spree
