    Trailer!

That's one of the best trailers I've ever seen.

Humour, awesome music, sycophancy of its users, loads of actual details and actual in game footage. Brilliant.

Gimme a great platformer with about 15 hours of solid gameplay and story and I'll buy it.

All the "create, share" stuff is meh.

There are a thousand other platformers out there; perhaps this game is just not for you?

If it was on the 360 he'd be all over it.

a game like this is quite cheap to make isnt it?

3million sales? should be quite profitable (even if it was selling for less than 20 within months of release).

Well he hardly tries to hide it. Quite the opposite.

    Us?

Who are you? (not you personally, btw - you as in the "us" bit)

I really enjoyed the first LBP, didn't really have the patience to spend too long on the level editing. Dabbled but never went crazy on it. I'm still fascinated to see what people come up with on this sequel though. The more they open up the possibilities the more wonderful stuff other people can make on my behalf :)

That trailer was incredible, passion pit fits the game really well, and that's one of my favourite songs from them. Really looking forward to this. Looks like the game will come with a lot of different in built game types too, rather than just platforming to serve as inspiration for budding designers.

All in all they did exactly what developers should do with a sequel, fix problems, improve on what they've got, and still find a way to innovate on the previous iteration.

It really is such an amazing package. As well as a place to hang out with friends with text speak ( beats home hands down ) and meet other gamers, it has a story mode that is super if that is all people want. Then for the artistically minded it opens up a brilliant way to lose countless hours making something that you can get instant feedback on from the whole world. So rewarding. Then jump into user content and what will be an amazing array of fun little game types and stories for all ages and tastes and it becomes something huge and wonderous. Almost more than a typical game as such, its hard to describe. If you create you can get literally hundreds of hours out of it so its great value for money. I met some great online friends through the first one which is priceless. Now the extra tools will multiply exponentially what folks will be able to imagine and then conceive , for others to play, FOR FREE! I wished to express this gushing earlier but was too overwhelmed.

( has had a little drink to celebrate ) :)

    Awesome game is awesome.

What's all this guff? PSN online is substandard cos it's free innit ;-) how can it be good for socialising?

    here fishy fishies
