should I expect similar deals over the next weeks (or on Boxing Day) for the 3DS? e.g. 3DS XL for Ł110 or something similar. not really used to UK deals so I'm not sure what to expect (especially Nintendo-related stuff).

Me too, was my fave between that and the Red/Black. I'm a bit bored with black electronics...

Does the white look cheap and plasticky in comparison to the black though? Seems to look nice in pics, but as I do most of my playing on the tube nowadays, I wanted something less ostentatious.

Having said that, if the MK7 deal or something similar pops up again I may just go for it.

It's certainly more appealing then the mixed coloured models; however if there's an all black XL (especially in a nice matte finish) then I don't think you'd improve on that ;-)

There is indeed an all-black version, and it does look very nice.

To be honest, I'd happily just get black/silver again, but then it'd feel like I'm buying the exact same console again. Which I am, but I want it to look new and different at least!

I bought a white one but it's a real swine to keep clean and scuffs are already starting to show.

Is there not a Rubber Case, similar to the ones you can get for Vita? Guessing not due to the difficult to cover clam design....Never seen one in the shops, only carry bags/cases....

Try Amazon or something. There's definitely clam shell cases that protect the outside of the console.

3DS has an awful selection of cases. I have the amazon basics only because that's pretty much the only one!

I got 10 yesterday plus Aonuma. Managed to get 2 new countries and 1 new region (although I am fairly sure Wales is a country).
    Got none today though.

So how do you get new puzzle boards? Through the new street passes, i started several new boards that i never had. Occasingly i get a new one through what i guess are general updates.

I don't even bother playing the street pass games. Feel it's a waste of my time ;-)

I think you just have to meet someone who has a piece from a board you don't have.

I think nowadays you get new boards through spotpass, with a piece to start you off. They keep adding boards for new games.

I've finished Streetpass II twice now, and just using the hits to finish off the board pieces. It's a great feature but the 10-person limit should be raised, would probably give the DLC a try if that ever happens.

I've still not bought into those other games. I would have done this week, had Super Hang-On and Space Harrier not come out this thursday. Damn Mega Drive in 3D curiosity...

Is it the Mega Drive versions in 3D? I was assuming/hoping it was that arcade simulation of Super Hang-On, where it has the swivelling sit-on bike and tilting screen effect.

It's the arcade version of Super Hang On. Video here, if you're interested. It even seems to have the screen lean tilting effect you mention, which I'm not sure I like. Hopefully it's optional.

I think Space Harrier is the arcade version too, going by the copyright notice, but I'm not as certain.

I've been playing Streetpass Mansion. It's quite good. You build and join together different coloured tetris blocks to create rooms and corridors. It's turn based with each streetpass hit giving you a block to place. You fight ghosts as you move through corridors and rooms, searching for the exit stairs. Each ghost has different strengths and weaknesses. You can also fuse together weapons and do various upgrades. It has a lite rpg feel to it and imo is worth the asking price, just as long as you can rely on getting daily streetpass hits.

Not sure if this game will look great in 3D or give you a pounding head and bleeding eyeballs.

@roz123 What good is Space Harrier if it doesn't give you a headache and bleeding eyeballs? It's all part of the experience!
